Nepal Government reluctantly eased the lockdown which began almost three months ago. Those three months have taken a toll on the economy. As expected, consumers are being very cautious where they spend their money.
So, automakers are trying to come up with the offer that might resonate with the customers.
Yamaha, Bajaj, TVS, Suzuki among others are coming up with reasonable schemes that match current scenarios.
Despite being a separate brand, the schemes are alike.
So, let’s take a quick look at taking Yamaha as the point of reference.
Yamaha Finance Scheme and Cash Discount
If you are looking to get a new Yamaha Motorcycle or a new Yamaha Scooter, you might want to read this. Yamaha is offering different options under its scheme.
Scheme 1: 0% Down Payment
You can get a new Yamaha bike or scooter with at Zero Percent Down payment. On a side note, the offer is only valid for corporate employees.
Interestingly, the higher down payment scheme is also available with a reduced interest rate. Additionally, Insurance, Service, and other Charges will be extra.
In this offer, you will have to pay the total amount within a 3-year period.
Scheme 2: 10% and 25% Down Payment
If you don’t have any Corporate Guarantee, this is the next best thing!
Do keep in mind, the down payment differs for customers with a permanent resident and a temporary resident.
If you are a permanent resident, you will have to put a 10% down payment with the payment period of up to 36 months.
Likewise, if you are a temporary resident, you will have to put a 25% down payment with a payment period of up to 30 months.
The offer is valid on models up to Rs. 3.5 Lakhs.
Scheme 3: 30% and 40% Down Payment
Like the previous scheme, the down payment differs on the basis of permanent and temporary residents.
If you are a permanent resident, you will have to put a 30% down payment with the payment period of up to 36 months.
Likewise, if you are a temporary resident, you will have to put a 40% down payment with a payment period of up to 30 months.
The offer is valid on models up to Rs. 3.5 Lakhs to 5.0 Lakhs.

You will need the following things to take advantage of this offer.
- Citizenship copy of Applicants & Guarantors
- Valid Driving License of Applicant
- Latest Passport Size Photo of Applicant & Guarantors
- Latest Electricity Bill or Copy of Lalpurja
- Income Source Document
- Corporate Guarantee of Big Organization (Only for Scheme 1)
Scheme 4: 0% Interest Rate
If you don’t want interest rates of any kind, you can get a new Yamaha bike or scooter at Zero Percent Interest!
Customers will have to put down a payment of 50% with payment plans for up to 12 months. It is valid for all models.
Since the payment period is comparatively short, you will have to pay slightly more EMI.

You will need the following things to take advantage of this offer.
- Citizenship copy of Applicants & Guarantors
- Valid Driving License of Applicant
- Latest Passport Size Photo of Applicant & Guarantors

Scheme 5: Rs. 10,000 Cash Discount
