Yamaha MT-09 Overview

Design

Starting with the design, Yamaha MT 09 brings the same style complexity that inspired the MT 15.

MT 09 sports a unique twin-eye LED headlight, which isn’t enough to overshadow its aggressive build. Combined with the radiator side fins to the larger tank-mounted air scoops with headlight winglets, the menacing design features a dynamic styling.

Honestly, I can’t do any justice in explaining the look of this hyper beast.

It looks intimidating with its radical looks, refined bodywork, and mouth-watering spec sheet.

Performance

Yamaha MT 09 is built on a lightweight controlled-fill cast aluminum frame.

It is powered by an 847cc, inline 3-cylinder, Liquid-cooled DOHC FI engine. It can generate a max power of 115PS at 10000rpm and max torque of 87.5Nm at 8500rpm. Moreover, it is mated to a 6-speed gearbox assisted with a slipper clutch.
