Expanding its ecosystem, Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi Smart Air Fryer 3.5L in Nepal on September 23, 2022.

Xiaomi Smart Air Fryer Overview

Design

The Xiaomi Smart Air Fryer comes in a white cylindrical shape with a glossy finish. Pressing the power button near the top will turn on the circular OLED screen. The screen shows cooking temperature, time, and reminders to shake or turn food over.

The screen also doubles as a control knob that lets you set different modes, timers, and temperatures. You can press on the screen to select modes.

Users can pull the 3.5L basket out from the front using the handle. The nonstick coating on the alclad metal frying basket makes the basket wear-resistant and easy to clean.

The air fryer also comes with a grill that sits inside the basket. Furthermore, the back of the fryer has cooling vents.

Features

The Xiaomi Smart Air Fryer can be used for air frying, baking, drying fruit, making yogurt, and defrosting. The food heats up with little to no oil thanks to the air fryer’s fan on top, which circulates hot air. It has 1500W heating power.

Using the control knob, you can adjust the temperature of the fryer between 40℃ and 200℃. The fan motor also adjusts its speed accordingly. When the temperature is set to below 80℃, the fan rotates at around 1800rpm, while higher temperature results in the rotation of the motor at around 2600rpm.

Making the air fryer a “smart air fryer” is the ability to connect to home Wi-Fi. It lets you control the air fryer wirelessly using your mobile phone via Xiaomi Home app. The app also has 100+ recipes that automatically adjust the time and temperature to cook the food.

And when you pull the basket out in the middle of cooking, the Xiaomi Smart Air Fryer will automatically cut the power to the heating pipe and pause the cooking. The cooking resumes automatically when you re-insert the tray.

It also supports Google Assistant which lets you control it with your voice. You can schedule meals in the air fryer up to 24 hours in advance so that they’ll be ready when you get home.
