Wuling Air EV has officially launched in Nepal.

EV Nepal Motors, the authorized distributor of Wuling vehicles in Nepal, has finally unveiled its most stylish and feature-rich EV.

Wuling Air EV is a compact electric vehicle, becoming one of the most popular EVs in China. Moreover, it is produced by Chinese automaker SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile.

As for the pricing, the Wuling Air EV price in Nepal starts at Rs. 24.99 Lakhs to Rs. 30.99 Lakhs.

It is available in two variants: Standard Range and Long Range. Additionally, the Long Range variants include more premium features absent in the Standard variant.

Design

Wuling Air EV is a small hatchback, based on an Eco-Futuristic vehicle.

It is styled similarly to a miniature SUV.

The front section is very futuristic with its Dual-Projector setup on each side. It includes a straight LED strip as the DLR that goes all the way to the ORVMs.

Interestingly, even the Wuling logo functions as a DLR.

Moreover, the charging port is integrated at the front apron. It features an advanced Easy Home Charging System.

The side profile highlights its boxy styling. Moreover, the roof is blacked out for a dual-tone finish. It gets 12-inch steel wheels with an attractive full cap.

Intriguingly, it is a two-door-styled vehicle. However, it is still a 4-seater.

The rear profile is heavily inspired by the front section.

The taillamp setup gets the same dual setup with a long strip and WULING badging.

Talking about the interior, hard plastic is expected at this price point. However, both variants get colored interiors for added premiums.

The standard range comes in Light Grey interior trim whereas the long range comes in Carbon Black with Soft Panel.

Furthermore, the Long Range variant features a massive 10.25-inch TFT Display (similar to that in the Hyundai Ioniq 5).

Additionally, the Wuling Air EV is available in five different colors: White, Blue, Pink, Yellow, and Green.

Performance

Wuling Air EV is powered by a 30-kW PMSM electric Motor. It can generate a max power of 41PS and a max torque of 110Nm, capable of a top speed of 100Kmph.

The IP67-rated battery pack is divided into two categories: Standard Range and Long Range.

The Standard Range gets a 17.3 kWh Lithium-Ferro-Phosphate battery with a claimed range of 200 km. It can charge in 8.5 hours with a 2.0kW AC charger. 

Moreover, the Long Range gets a 26.7kWh Lithium-Ferro-Phosphate battery with a claimed range of 300 km. It can charge in 4 hours with a 6.6kW AC charger.

Wuling Nepal provides an 8-Year (or 120000Km) Warranty on the Battery. And, the battery has gone through numerous testing to ensure its reliability and function in the longer run.

Additional Details

McPherson and 3-Link Coil Spring handle the suspension duties.

The dimensions are 2974mm in length, 1505mm in width, and 1631mm in height. Moreover, the wheelbase sits at 2010mm.
