Powering the device is a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset. It is an old mediocre processor and performs best with lighter tasks; it cannot handle any demanding applications.

Cons
- Only up to 1080p@30 fps videos
- Lack of ultrawide camera
The IP54-rated Y36 comes with a 2.5D glass design and is available in 2 different color variants. The phone looks very modern and has a slim profile of 8mm. With a fast refresh rate of 90Hz, the display is smooth and the hole punch camera gives it a more premium feel.
The phone comes with a Snapdragon 680 chipset, which is good enough for daily tasks but if you want to game or do some heavy lifting, you might wanna look in other directions, like the Redmi Note 12 5G.

vivo Y36 Price in Nepal: Rs. 26,999 (8/128GB) | Rs. 28,999 (8/256GB)
The large 5000mAh battery has support for 44W fast charging which is done via a Type-C port. vivo has claimed a 30% charge in 15 mins which is very decent.
Overall, it’s still one of the best vivo phone under 30,000 in Nepal despite its shortcomings.
vivo V27e
vivo V27e Summary
The vivo V27e is a very slim mid-range phone with a unique design and emphasis on camera performance. It’s disappointing they didn’t include the ultra-wide camera with the V27e.
Rs. 41,999 (8/256GB)
Pros
- Good design
- AMOLED display
- 120Hz refresh rate
- 4600mAh battery
- 66W fast charging
Cons
- Lack of ultrawide camera
- No HDR10+ certification
The V27e separates itself from the V27 by donning a flat design and has a shimmery feather-like pattern on the back which gives the phone a unique design. It’s also IP54 rated for dust and water resistance. The AMOLED display with the hole-punch cutout is fast at 120Hz with minimal bezels. However, the display lacks HDR10+ certification.
They’ve featured an older G99 with the phone but it’s still a decent performer and has been tried and tested. Reliability with this chip is not an issue on most phones. It performs well in daily tasks and games alike. But, as a consumer, you can opt for phones with better chipsets in this price range, like phones with the snapdragon 778G or the Dimensity 1080 for instance.
Well, for a phone that is supposed to put an emphasis on camera performance, vivo missed out major time by skipping the ultra-wide camera. At this price, just one camera, no matter how good, will leave users asking for more.

vivo V27 5G
vivo V27 5G Summary
The vivo V27 5G is a mid-range phone with a unique design and emphasis on camera performance. The V27 features a good main camera that is above average and does an amazing job in low-light situations. Furthermore, it has good performance and an excellent display for the price. It’s vivo’s most expensive phone in Nepal.
Rs. 56,999 (8/256GB)
Pros
- Awesome design
- Good performance
- Good main camera
- Impressive low-light photos
Cons
- The ultrawide camera could be better
vivo V27 has the AG matte glass black which has a color-changing property. The phone looks stunning with its curved edges but its size makes it difficult to one-hand the phone. The HDR10+ display is also curved and has minimal bezels which makes media consumption a blast.
Powered by the Dimensity 7200, it is fast and smooth in daily usage with basic tasks like navigation, app opening, and app switching having no issues. At this price, it’s a good enough gamer that it can handle some heavy games with minimal frame drops.
The cameras capture crisp and clear photos in daylight with equally good performance in low light. The IMX766V excels in portrait shots with good colors, background blur, and edge detection.
vivo V27 5G Specifications

The phone comes with a 4600mAh battery which will last more than a day. For charging, there’s an 80W charger that comes in the box but the phone supports only 66W fast charging.
If you want a phone that looks amazing and captures good photos, the V27 is one you should consider. It’s stylish, and unique with its color-changing back while delivering solid performance for its price.
We think this is the best vivo phone in Nepal you can buy right now. But, if you are someone who prioritizes software updates, vivo hasn’t specified any for the V27, so keep that in mind.

vivo Y02
vivo Y02 Summary
The vivo Y02 is a budget offering with a good design and a big battery. Even at its cheap price, it offers dual-band Wi-Fi. It’s the cheapest vivo mobile in Nepal on offer currently.
Rs. 12,999 (3/32GB)
Pros
- Unique Design
- 1080p at 30fps videos
- Large 5000mAh battery
Cons
- Low RAM
The Y02 has a flat frame and rounded corners. The phone is made of plastic and the back has a huge camera circle which is very unique. The display is average and features a waterdrop notch design.
vivo Nepal has not officially disclosed the chipset being used in the phone but vivo Singapore has listed it as being a MediaTek Helio P35 (12 nm) which is an octa-core processor. Some unconfirmed sources have stated the chipset as being a Helio P22 as well. Anyways, the phone’s performance is not its strong suit. It’s okay if you’re a pretty light user but don’t expect any heavy apps to run on a phone with a low amount of RAM and in this budget space.
Well, the cameras are exactly what you would expect. It has an 8MP camera at the back. It’s capable of shooting 1080@30fps and at this price, we really can’t complain much about the performance.
vivo Y02 Specifications
- Display: 6.51 inches IPS LCD, 720 x 1600 pixels, 60Hz refresh rate, 20:9 ratio
- Chipset: Unspecified
- CPU: Octa-core
- GPU: Unspecified
- Memory: 32GB 2GB RAM, supports microSDXC
- OS: Android 12 (Go edition), Funtouch 12
- Rear Camera: 8 MP, f/2.0
- Video: 1080p@30fps
- Front Camera: 5 MP, f/2.2
- Battery: Non-removable Li-Po 5000mAh battery, 10W charging
vivo Y02 Price in Nepal: Rs. 12,999 (3/32GB)
The phone comes with a 5000mAh battery with support for 10W charging. It’s gonna take a couple of hours to charge this phone from dead, but still, the large battery should last you a day easily.
If you have a limited budget or want to gift a first phone to your child, this may be one you can consider. It won’t run large apps and heavy games, but some browsing and social media shouldn’t be too difficult. This is the best vivo phone under Rs. 15,000 in our opinion.
vivo V25e
vivo V25e Summary
The vivo V25e is a mid-range smartphone with a stylish color-changing design. It has a fast chipset, which is decent but is not as powerful as the one found on its bigger sibling — vivo V25.
Rs. 39,999 (8/128GB)
Pros
- 90Hz AMOLED display
- 64MP camera
- Large 4500mAh battery
- 44W fast charging
Cons
- Waterdrop notch
- No 4K video recording
- No ultrawide camera
The mid-range smartphone has a stylish design featuring vivo’s signature Fluorite AG glass back that changes color when exposed to sunlight or other UV rays. The front waterdrop notch is not very flattering to the 90Hz AMOLED display.
Hardware-wise, the phone runs a relatively new chipset that is well known for its performance: both normal tasks and gaming. The G99 is a decently powerful chip and will breeze through daily tasks. Apps opening and switching is fast with the gaming experience being decent.
Well, what can we say? The phone lacks an ultrawide camera, instead, you get a 2MP macro camera. I’d rather have the ultrawide at this price really. And, the video is limited to 1080p, no 4K here.
vivo V25e Specifications
- Display: 6.44 inches FHD+ AMOLED, 1080 x 2404 pixels, 90Hz, 20:9, 1300 nits (peak), 100% P3, 103% NTSC
- Chipset: MediaTek Helio G99 (6nm)
- CPU: Octa-core (2×2.2 GHz Cortex-A76 & 6×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55)
- GPU: Mali-G57 MC2
- Memory: 128GB 8GB RAM, supports microSD card
- OS: Android 12, Funtouch 12
- Rear Camera: 64 MP, f/1.8, (wide), 0.7µm, PDAF, OIS
- 2 MP, f/2.4, (depth)
- 2 MP, f/2.4, (macro)
- Video: 1080p@30fps
- Front Camera: 32 MP, f/2.0, (wide)
- Video: 1080p@30fps
- Battery: Non-removable Li-Po 4500 mAh battery, Fast Charging 44W
vivo V25e Price in Nepal: Rs. 39,999 (8/128GB)
Saving the best for the last, the 4500mAh battery may not be the biggest in this segment but should provide a day of usage. Even if you run out of juice, it takes only 30 minutes to get to 58% as the phone supports 44W fast charging.
We really think the phone is decent for what it offers. Yes, you can get better phones at this price but this is not one to sleep on. However, the lack of an ultrawide camera really is disappointing.
vivo Y15s
vivo Y15s Summary
The vivo Y15s features the same entry-level MediaTek Helio P35 processor. It still uses the outdated micro USB port and supports only 10W charging, while its competitors are offering a USB Type-C port and at least 18W fast charging support.
Rs. 17,999 (3/64GB)
Pros
- Good design
- Satisfactory front camera
- Great battery life
Cons
- Outdated micro-USB port
- Poor performance
- Sluggish
- Slow charging
From the front, the vivo Y15s does not differ from any other budget phone. It has the same familiar water-drop notch and a noticeable chin. The back, however, has a good design to it. vivo Y15s features an HD+ IPS display called the Halo Fullview by vivo.
The vivo Y15s is equipped with the not-so-new MediaTek Helio P35 chipset. It’s an octa-core processor and the phone has 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It handles opening, closing, and using multiple light apps comfortably. However, the phone is not very responsive. The whole UI can get sluggish, and scrolling through anything feels laggy.
It has a dual-camera setup on the rear comprising a 13MP main camera and a 2MP macro camera. The main camera takes decent photos when given enough light but has a reddish tint, resulting in warmer photos. The dynamic range is okay, and overall, it produces decent photos that are good for casual usage. On the front, it has an 8MP selfie camera.
vivo Y15s Specifications
- Display: 6.51 inches HD+ IPS LCD, 720 x 1600 pixels, 60Hz
- Chipset: Mediatek Helio P35 (12nm)
- CPU: Octa-core (4×2.3 GHz Cortex-A53 & 4×1.8 GHz Cortex-A53)
- GPU: PowerVR GE8320
- Memory: 64GB 3GB RAM, eMMC 5.1
- OS: Android 11 (Go edition), Funtouch OS 11.1
- Rear Camera:13 MP, f/2.2, 27mm (wide), AF
- 2 MP, f/2.4 (macro)

- Front Camera: 8 MP, f/2.0
- Video: 1080p@30fps
- Battery: Non-removable Li-Po 5000 mAh battery, 10W Charging
vivo Y15s Price in Nepal: Rs. 17,999
The phone includes a 5000 mAh battery and charges via a micro USB port, which supports just 10W charging. The battery will easily last a day of usage but that 10W charging speed is just not good enough.
Well, the device’s price is a significant letdown. The phone’s specifications do not justify its Rs. 19,999 starting price tag which is now revised to Rs. 17,999 making it a bit justifiable but still lacking behind the competition. You can watch the video for detailed information.

vivo Y20s
vivo Y20s Summary
vivo Y20s doesn’t bring many upgrades over the Y20. It is the same phone as the vivo Y20 with extra RAM and extra storage. It has a good battery capacity and a decent camera setup. But its price is expensive compared to the competition.

Cons
- Outdated design
- HD+ IPS display
- The chipset is not up to mark

The fingerprint sensor is pushed onto the power button which is quite common. It also has the same LCD display as the Y20 with a screen resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels.
There’s not much of an upgrade in terms of power as it uses the same Snapdragon 460 chipset used on the Y20. This is an underclocked version of the Snapdragon 665 chipset. Expect minor stutters but a decent performance overall when doing daily tasks.
