Vivo Launches Two Budget Smartphones, Y53 and Y65, in Nepal

After months of speculations, Vivo finally makes its debut in Nepal. Vivo Nepal underwent series of recruitment process last month and continued to tease its launch via their official Facebook page. Now finally, Vivo has launched its two budget-oriented devices, Y53 and Y65, in Nepal. The devices are currently in presale and available in the retail stores. Vivo Y53 price in Nepal is set Rs. 15,590 and Vivo Y65 price in Nepal is set Rs. 20,990.

Vivo is yet to launch Vivo V7 with 24MP front camera in Nepal. Now, the company joins the competition with other Chinese manufacturers like UMDIGI, OPPO, and Xiaomi.

Vivo Y53 and Y65 are a mid-range budget smartphone. Aimed at consumers who want solid smartphone experience at an affordable cost. Included Snapdragon processor will definitely keep up with the faster experience.

Vivo Y53 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 with a quad-core processor. The internal storage is 16GB (expandable via microSD) with 2 GB RAM. It has decent specs for the camera. The device runs on non-removable Li-Ion 2500 mAh battery.

Both the devices feature decent and similar hardware specs. Vivo Y53 is an affordable device running Snapdragon 425. But you will get an outdated Android Marshmallow. Same goes for the hardware specs in Vivo Y65. However, there is a price difference of Rs. 5,000 despite sharing similar specs. In Vivo Y65, you will get a bigger screen, more RAM, and a large battery capacity. Buying either one will solely depend on you.

There should not be any place for complaints. Both devices stand out on their own. Most of us are still waiting patiently for Vivo V7 and Vivo V7+. The company seems to be testing the market with this launch. It is still new competition in Nepal. So, overall brand performance is yet to be seen.
