TVS Jupiter 125 Overview
Design
TVS Jupiter hasn’t changed much in terms of styling.
It largely focuses on being a family scooter, but with more dash of stylish and premium elements.
There have been many quality-of-life changes. Interestingly enough, these new changes enhance both practicality and style.
The front section comes with LED Headlamp with a black visor. Moreover, the apron has integrated side indicators.
Oddly enough, the LED DRLs have been uniquely positioned above the indicators. As for the premium elements, it introduces Chrome Highlights on its Mirror, Headlamp Housing, and Apron.
Coming to the side profile, follows the MetalMaxx Body theme.

It is a relatively simpler profile.
Nevertheless, there are sculpted lines to give it a bulkier profile. And, there is a Chromed Line and Diamond-Cut Alloy Wheels to boost the premium appeal.
The rear profile comes with an Elegant Tail Lamp. However, it is dominated by Halogen Bulbs with partial LED DRL strips.
Additionally, TVS Jupiter 125 comes in four different colors: Orange, Blue, White, and Grey.
Performance
TVS Jupiter 125 is powered by a 124.8cc Single-Cylinder, 4-Stroke, Air-Cooled ET-FI Engine. It generates a max power of 8.2PS at 6500rpm and a max torque of 10.5Nm at 4500rpm.
Moreover, it is mated to a CVT Transmission with a 5.1-liter fuel tank capacity.
This is a brand-new engine, and not derived from the TVS NTorq.
Hence, it includes newer features like TVS IntelliGo System. It provides an Easy-Go and Noiseless Start which is absent in the NTorq.
Other features include an External Fuel Filler, Side Stand Engine Cut Off, Combinational Lock, USB Charging and More!

TVS Jupiter 125 Price in Nepal and Availability
There is no official word on its pricing or its official launch date. Considering that TVS Nepal has launched most variants of the TVS NTorq, it is about time to introduce a newer model.
TVS Jupiter 125 price in Nepal will be lower than the outgoing TVS NTorq 125 BS6. Theoretically, it should cost around Rs. 3 Lakhs range.
Despite being an enticing offering, the TVS Jupiter 110 BS4 wasn’t the most popular scooter in the Nepali market.
And, Jupiter 110 retails for Rs. 2.11 Lakhs in Nepal.

I really do hope that TVS Nepal gets the price right. If it does, then it should revolutionize the 125cc family scooter segment similar to what TVS NTorq did a few years back.
