Toyota Raize, Toyota’s New Mid-Sized SUV, Officially Launched in Nepal

Toyota Raize is now available in Nepal.

United Traders Syndicate, the authorized distributor of Toyota vehicles in Nepal, has announced the launch of Toyota Raize.

Following the trend, Toyota introduced a brand new model for the growing compact SUV segment. It features a powerful style of SUV along with true Toyota reliability.

Toyota Raize will be the first affordable Toyota compact-SUV in Nepal. As for the pricing, Toyota’s Raize price in Nepal starts at Rs. 66 Lakhs to Rs. 86 Lakhs.

Toyota Raize Overview

Design

Toyota Raize sports a distinctive styling. It brings traditional Toyota styling into its latest iteration.

As expected, there are adequate side creases and sculpted features.

The front section comes with an angular bumper at the corners. Furthermore, the profile is further animated by the trapezoidal lower grille.

Raize gets a thin LED Headlamp. Moreover, it will feature a unique DRL with sequential turn indicators.

Fortunately, Raize does not go crazy with the design.

Moving to the rear section, it follows a similar theme as the front section.

It includes an angular bumper at the corners with faux vents.

While Toyota has kept the rear design simple, it still stands out thanks to its unique LED rear lamp.

Similarly, the interiors come with a modern design. Like all Toyota products, the interiors fall under the premium segment.

Performance

Toyota Raize will be available in two engine options: 1.2L Petrol Engine and 1.0L Turbo Petrol Engine.

The 1.2L inline 3-Cylinder Petrol Engine can generate a max power of 88.37PS at 6000rpm and a max torque of 113Nm at 4500rpm. Similarly, the 1.0-liter inline 3-Cylinder Turbo Engine can generate a max power of 97.89PS at 6000rpm and a max torque of 140Nm at 2400-4000rpm.

Both engines will be available in 5-speed MT and CVT transmission with a 36-liter fuel tank capacity.

Raize is built on a new DNGA platform.

Moreover, the engine and powertrain figures have been developed from the ground up.
