TicPods ANC Earbuds with 13mm HiFi Sound Driver Launched in Nepal

Recently, we have seen a lot of new TWS from different brands in Nepal. And, there’s a new player in the market as Mobvoi has launched TicPods ANC in Nepal.

TicPods ANC is an affordable TWS with Active Noise Cancelling. TicPods ANC price in Nepal is Rs. 13,499 and it comes in white color. It is available to purchase via daraz.

TicPods ANC is one of the latest TWS from Mobvoi and it features Active Noise Cancellation at an affordable price tag. So, let’s take a brief look at it.

TicPods ANC Overview

Design

TicPods ANC design is familiar and looks inspired by the original Airpods. It’s an in-ear design and provides a sealed fit with snug rubber tips.

The earbuds weigh 5gm each so it is very light. TicPods ANC also comes with IPX5 water resistance. So it is protected against water jets projected by a nozzle (6.3mm) from any angle.

The charging case looks like that of Apple’s. The charging port is on the bottom and its USB-C. The charging indicator is on the bottom next to the charging port.

Controls

TicPods ANC uses touch controls just like most of the TWS these days.

The controls are as follows.

• Active Noise Cancellation: Long-press cycles through Quiet Mode, Sound-Passthrough, and Off
• Music: Double-tap on either side: Play/pause music, Triple tap on the right side: Skip music
• Phone Calls: Double-tap on either side: Pickup call, Press and hold on the right side for 2 seconds: End/reject call
• Voice Assistant: Triple tap on the left side when wearing both earbuds, Triple tap on left or right earbud when wearing a single earbud

Sound and Active Noise Cancellation

There are three levels of Active Noise Cancellation: Quiet Mode, Sound-Passthrough, and ANC-Off. Quiet mode will provide a noise-canceling effect of up to 40dB. This mode eliminates environment noise up to 35dB.

The sound pass-through mode will let you hear what’s happening around and you can turn off the ANC for passive noise cancellation.

TicPods ANC uses a 13mm HiFi sound driver for a rich sound. The 13mm full-frequency audio unit consists of a high-tenacity vibration diaphragm. This earbud will also provide smooth treble along with a clean voice for calls.

Connectivity

TicPods ANC uses Bluetooth 5.0 with a standard range of 10m. But what’s unique about these buds is the fact that you can connect each bud independently. So, you could also use a single earbud at a time.

Battery

TicPods ANC has claimed battery life up to 21 hours of playtime with the charging case. The buds can provide 6 hours of battery life with ANC off with a single charge and similarly provides up to 5 hours with ANC on.

The case provides 2.5 full charges.

TicPods ANC price in Nepal is Rs. 13,499. It comes in a single color: white. It is available to purchase via daraz.

For the price, you won’t find many earbuds with ANC. It doesn’t have premium features like wireless charging and also lacks aptX support. Oppo Enco W51 is the only other TWS that provides ANC at an affordable price. Furthermore, it also has wireless charging.
