Suzuki Avenis 125 Overview
Design
Suzuki Avenis 125 features a drastically different styling. In contrast to the existing Suzuki scooters, it has a more sporty appearance.
Both the front and the rear sections get an aggressive design, also dubbed the “Advanced Sporty Styling”.
The front comes with a body-mounted LED headlamp. Moreover, it gets handlebar integrated indicators along with a sporty meter visor.
Interestingly enough, the side profile feels the most familiar. It carries that muscular appeal with its aggressive claddings and sharp lines.

However, the design strongly resembles a TVS NTorq scooter.
Unfortunately, that familiarity continues at the rear section as well. Whether it’s the twin-LED lamp or the sport grab bar, it just does not feel unique enough from its popular competition.
Suzuki Avenis 125 comes in four colors: Green, Orange, White, and Black.
Performance
Suzuki Avenis 125 BS6 is powered by a 124.3cc, Single-Cylinder, 2-valve, air-cooled, SOHC, FI engine. It can generate a max power of 8.7PS at 6750rpm and a max torque of 10Nm at 5500rpm.
Moreover, it is mated to a CVT transmission with a 5.2-liter fuel tank capacity.
Avenis 125 gets the same BS6-compliant engine, as previously seen in both Access 125 and Burgman 125.
It is not only that, rather there are a few part-sharing going on.
Avenis borrows tyres sizes, suspension setup, and ground clearance from its siblings as well.

Additionally, Suzuki Avenis 125 will compete with TVS NTorq 125, Honda Grazia 125, and Aprilia SR 125.
Avenis 125 brings in the sporty character of the NTorq 125 and matches refinement levels of the Grazia 125. And, it is far more practical and feature rich than the Aprilia SR 125.
Unfortunately, Suzuki Nepal has decided to go for the Standard Edition of the Suzuki Avenis.
If it would have included the RideConnect feature, it would have gotten a competitive edge over TVS, Yamaha, and Honda. Although a bit disappointing, it should not take away from the punchy experience of the Avenis.
Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see how everything pans out!
