Skoda Superb Launched in Nepal for Rs. 1.16 Crore at NADA AUTO SHOW 2017

MAW Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., the official distributor of Skoda cars in Nepal, has once again come up with the magnificent Skoda Superb in Nepal with a new model including superior functions and features. The new Skoda Superb 2017 was launched at NADA Auto Show 2017. As per the company, the new Skoda Superb price in Nepal is set Rs. 1,16,00,000. The new Skoda Superb 2017 is exceptional and better than its previous model.

Its competitive pricing and big cabin give the Superb a wide spectrum of fleet-biased rivals, but it’s ultimately the likes of Vauxhall’s Insignia Grand Sport, Ford’s Mondeo, Volkswagen’s Passat at one end and Audi’s A4, Mercedes-Benz’s C-Class, Jaguar’s XE and BMW’s 3 Series at the other end, that Skoda will want its new Superb to be elbowing out of the way.

The Skoda Superb, the third generation of Skoda’s giant, the range-topping saloon is now more giant and range-topping than ever. Mostly from the VW Group’s Sensible Range, with four-cylinder turbodiesels, the new Skoda Superb engine is now powered by 2.0 TDI diesel engine/1968cc which pumps out max power of 174.3 KW @ 4000 rpm and max torque of 350 Nm @ 3500 rpm.

In term of dimension, as compared to its predecessor, in new Skoda Superb every visible line and design element are sharper, aggressive and contemporary-looking. The front looks more aggressive with new intricately designed bi-xenon headlamps featuring adaptive light system along with LED DRLs running along the lower edge. The car gets a well-designed bonnet with sharp and edgy lines along with a sporty front bumper that gives the sedan a sporty yet elegant character. The new Skoda Superb is now 28mm longer and 47mm wider while the wheelbase has been raised by 80mm that measures 4,861mm in length, 1,864mm in width and 1,468mm in height.

The Skoda Superb 2017 also comes with advanced features that includes sharper edges and angular surfaces 3D headlamps with LED DRLs, sloping roofline, 18-inch alloy wheels, ‘two-part’ LED taillights, 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Smartlink, 3-spoke leather-wrapped multifunction steering, three-zone climate control, apple CarPlay and Bluetooth connectivity, CANTON audio system and adaptive dampers with three driving modes, electrically adjustable front seat with memory function and lumbar support and many more.

The Skoda Superb now comes with fuel tank capacity of 66 liters and provide the mileage up to 14.33 kmpl in average which is quite impressive. The new Skoda Superb 2016 is available in both petrol and diesel engine in the international market. But for now MAW has just brought 6-speed automated diesel engine in Nepal which is available in Skoda Showroom, Thapathali, Nepal.
