SecurityPal Unveils Security Operations Command Center in Nepal

SecurityPal, a “consolidated solution” for completing security reviews and questionnaires based in Silicon Valley, unveiled a security operations command center (SOCC) in Kathmandu, Nepal on February 21, 2023.

The announcement was made in the presence of the United States Ambassador to Nepal Dean R. Thompson.

Founded in 2020, SecurityPal already has a presence in San Francisco’s Salesforce Tower and New York City, and this new facility in Asia-Pacific further strengthens its global presence and solidifies its position as a go-to partner for security reviews and intelligent security and compliance knowledge graph management.

The command center will serve as a hub for the company’s security professionals to collaborate, share knowledge and best practices, and provide customized support to each of its customers.

It is expected to help scaling companies and enterprises tackle the complex and evolving nature of security reviews and questionnaires.

Security questionnaires are sets of questions used to evaluate an organization’s security posture, policies, practices, and procedures, identify potential cybersecurity weaknesses among third-party vendors, and assess compliance with regulations and standards.

The announcement of the SOCC comes after SecurityPal’s recent emergence from stealth and its announcement of a $21 million Series A funding round led by Craft Ventures during the fall of last year.
