Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G price in Nepal is Rs. 89,999 for 8/256GB variant. It is available for pre-order from today (January 04, 2022) until January 10, 2022.

S21 FE is the Fan Edition of the Samsung S21 series and a successor to the S20 FE. Let’s see what changes it brings compared to the S20 FE.

Build & Design

Samsung S21 FE uses a metal frame and plastic back similar to the Galaxy S20 FE, but it has a modern design, in line with the S21 series. However, the S21 FE’s camera bump doesn’t blend across the frame, unlike the S21 series.

Similar to the S20 FE, it also has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance but the S21 FE has a slighlty lighter and compact body.

The S21 FE comes in three colors: Graphite, Lavender, and Olive.

Display

Samsung S21 FE has a 6.4 inches Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O panel with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It is also protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.

S21 FE has a max refresh rate of 120Hz and comes with a 240Hz touch sampling rate with Game Mode. In comparison, the S20 FE has a slightly larger 6.5 inches display with slightly larger bezels.

Hardware

Samsung S21 FE is equipped with either the Snapdragon 888 or Exynos 2100 chipset. While the EU and US regions will get the Snapdragon variant, regions like Nepal will get the Exynos variant. The chipset is paired with 8GB RAM and 128/256GB internal storage.

It has an Octa-Core processor with 1 Cortex X1 core, 3 Cortex A78 cores, and 4 Cortex A55 cores.

Like the previous models, S21 FE has a Wi-Fi 6, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB 3.2 Type-C port, Samsung Pay, and Samsung DeX. The other obvious upgrade from the S20 FE is the 5G capability.

Camera

In terms of cameras, the S21 FE doesn’t get a clear upgrade. The rear camera unit consists of a 12MP main sensor with OIS, 12MP ultra-wide sensor, and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3X optical zoom and OIS.

On the front, it has the same 32MP selfie camera.

Just like the S20 FE, both the rear camera and front camera of S21 FE are capable of capturing videos up to 4k 60fps.

Battery

S21 FE has a 4500mAh battery paired with 25W Fast Charging support. But, you don’t get a charger in the box.

Furthermore, it also has 15W Fast Wireless Charging and 4.5W Reverse Wireless Charging support.

Software

S21 FE comes with Android 12 based One UI 4.0 and it will get 3 more Android OS upgrades.

With the One UI 4, S21 FE gets Dual video recording, enhanced customized color palettes, PIP, a wider array of widgets, a tweaked quick panel, and more.

To pre-book, you can register online and pay Rs. 5000 via eSewa or you can visit a selected official outlet and fill up the physical form by paying Rs. 5000 deposit.

Samsung is also providing a free 25W charger or Rs. 2500 cashback and 1-year breakage insurance as pre-booking offer.

Samsung S21 FE is a lite S21 that has the same design as the Samsung S21 and uses the same chipset as the S21 series. But, it gets the same camera setup as the Samsung S20 FE.

It is an improvement over the S20 FE but this year’s pricing is a bit off. For Rs. 89,999 the S21 FE doesn’t provide the same value as the S20 FE did a year ago for Rs. 74,999.
