Did you know that the Samsung S11 series is set to launch in the February of 2020? Well, if you didn’t, now you know. With the launch date getting nearer and nearer every day, we see tons of rumor leaks on the device that get us excited more and more.
So, today we managed to compile everything that we’ve learnt so far on the S11 and have created a synopsis to show you everything that the S11 could have to offer. Ok, let’s get started.
Everything that about the S11
I guess there’s not to say about the design of the device at all. One of the first things to be leaked was this image and I’m sure some of you already know what it looks like. As per some renders, the S11 seems to be shaping up to be a modest change compared to the S11. The phone will be coming in 3 different models: S11, S11+ and the S11e. Other than that, everything else can be summarized in 6 different points.
A New Design
The frontal layout seems pretty much identical to the one found in the Note 10. The camera housing on the other side looks quite different. Instead of the previous horizontal layout, the S11 will be featuring a rectangular camera bump for the 5 camera sensors. And, they are still discarding the headphone jack.
Familiar Display
As far as screen goes, renders have also revealed that the S11 maybe having an edge-to-edge 6.7” bezel-free display with a centered punch hole notch. There’s also leaks indicating that the S11e will be getting a 6.4” screen. While the S11+ is getting a whopping 6.9” display! The good news is that S11 lineup will be continuing the same AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate as that found on the Galaxy S10.
5G/ Snapdragon 865 Highly Probable?
With 5G slowly making its way to the market, it’s no wonder that the S11 series will be supporting 5G connectivity. About the processor, it could either be the Snapdragon 865 or Exynos 990 that will be backing up this connectivity. As for the RAM variants, the starting point is 6GB and it could go all the way up to 12 GB.
On the software side, it is possible that the phone will ship with One UI 2.1 on top of Android 10 right out of the box.
A 100x Hybrid Zoom!
One of the major leaks on the device so far is that it will be housing a 108MP ISOCELL Bright HMX sensor; which was just revealed by Samsung in August. But that’s not the only interesting part! This information comes from a rather ambiguous site called MatrixLife. And it hints that this smartphone might come with a 100x ‘Hybrid zoom’. As of now, the highest zoom level is offered by Mi CC9 Pro and Huawei P30 Pro which stands at 50x.
Well, if it does manage to make it to the market, it will surely be a feast for the eye. Besides the main 108MP sensor, a 48MP telephoto camera is also in high probability of arriving in the device. The phone is also likely to support video 8K video recordings at 30fps.
Well, aside from that, the battery status is still hidden. Considering everything else, the battery capacity is sure to be large is all that we can say at the moment.
Well, that’s it. That is everything that we know about what could probably be the final specification of the S11. What do you think about these specifications? Do let us know in the comments down below.
