Apparently, Samsung is planning to launch a new S10 phone on the market right now. Technically, it’s not entirely new as it is a lite version of the previously launched Samsung S10. There have been strong leaks from SamMobile that support the fact that Samsung is working on a new S10 device. However, there are rumors of A90 5G and A91 which will have a similar spec sheet, so this could be just a rumor.
The phone was recently spotted in the Geekbench database and the specifications mostly confirm that this is the Samsung S10 lite. Here’s an image of the Geekbench scores on the Samsung S10 Lite.
As of now, the S10e is the most affordable phone in the S10 series. More rumors indicate that the S10 Lite will replace S10e as the most affordable S10 phone. Apart from the pricing, the phone is rumored to have these specific arrangements:
Samsung S10 Lite Rumored Specs
As per the leaks, the Samsung SM-G770F aka the Samsung S10 Lite will be featuring a Snapdragon 855 chipset. The chipset scored a 742 for single-core and a 2604 score for multicore which is great as it’s actually better than that of Samsung Galaxy S10e.
Alongside the chipset, the device is also rumored to be paired alongside 8/256GB storage. However, this is not confirmed yet. The phone is most likely to be available with 6/128 GB storage.
Apart from that, the scores also reveal that S10 Lite will be featuring Android 10 right out of the box. It’s also possible that it will arrive with Samsung’s One UI 2.0. Other than that, some rumors suggest that there will be a triple camera setup with 48MP at its center and a 4500mAh battery life with a 45W fast charge.
Lastly, there are some rumors that point to this device encasing a 6.7” Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution. Always-on display, in-display fingerprint scanner, and face unlock features are almost confirmed on this device.
Well, that’s all that we know about the S10 Lite for now. If the phone does come out in reasonable pricing and the above-mentioned specification, it’ll be on par with devices like the OnePlus 7T Pro. The one thing that this device lacks is probably in the camera department. If it’s good, budget smartphone makers such as OnePlus are definitely going to face stiff competition.
If there are any updates, we’ll make sure to update you on the device. Till then, do let us know your thoughts on the device in the comment section down below.
