Its that time of the year again. Royal Enfield Nepal is prepping up for the upcoming launch of the much-anticipated Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. So far, there’s a lot known about the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 price in Nepal along with its official launch date.
As expected, the fans are very excited about it. However, non-fans should be equally excited. Don’t worry, I’ll explain everything.
Vivek Automobiles Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributors of Royal Enfield in Nepal, is reportedly busy prepping the launch of Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 in Nepal. As stated previously, the official launch date is still up for debate. But the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 price in Nepal is Rs. 12,49,000.
Royal Enfield Interceptor 650: What’s So Special?
Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is special for so many reasons.
Firstly, it is going to be the first Royal Enfield 650cc twin-cylinder motorcycle. Being in that category, it is sure to bring all the power and torque to the table. Plus, Royal Enfield has been very vocal about the improvements and hard work that went into this.
Finally, their hard work came to full fruition! It like a mix of modern technology with all the fun parts of the retro design.
What’s their main goal here?
I’d like to think that Royal Enfield wants to take the Twin-Cylinder engine to the mainstream market. Every other major company like Yamaha, TVS, Bajaj, Honda among others only sells a single-cylinder engine. Few bikes which do include a twin-cylinder engine are ridiculously expensive.
So, Royal Enfield Interceptor finds a sweet spot between power, performance, style, and price!
Honestly, I still can’t believe this is the new face of the Royal Enfield. Plus, the Interceptor 650 is one of the most beautiful Royal Enfield motorcycles I have seen in a long time.
Royal Enfield Interceptor 650: Overview
Interceptor 650 is powered by a 648cc air-cooled parallel twin-engine. Furthermore, it is an FI system mated to a 6-speed gearbox that comes with a slipper clutch! Moreover, it can generate a max power of 47HP at 7100rpm and max torque of 52Nm at 4000rpm.

Additionally, it comes with dual-disc braking with dual-channel ABS. Likewise, it has a fuel capacity of 13.4-liter (expected mileage 20-25kmpl).
Finally, you get a classic teardrop tank, halogen lights, spook wheels, 18-inch Pirelli tires, twin exhaust, and so much more. Again, you feel like a rider from the 60s living in contemporary time.
According to the few reviews online, Interceptor 650 does not come with the classic vibrations. Plus, the engine is so smooth!
Let’s top that good news with another! According to reports, Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 will also make its debut alongside Interceptor 650. Both share some similarities, but Continental GT 650 comes with a café racer look, completed with single-seat, rear-fitted footrests, dual-disc ABS brakes, upswept exhaust, and clip-on handlebars.
