Ripple Launches the all-new Pandora with Ryzen 7 5700U in Nepal

Ripple has finally launched the all-new Ripple Pandora Ryzen in Nepal.

Ripple Pandora Ryzen price in Nepal starts at Rs. 98,000. It is available for pre-order right now.

This is the follow-up to the original Ripple Pandora which was launched in May 2021. Given, its amazing value for money, the original Ripple Pandora was a hit. And, its successor looks to do the same.

Ripple Pandora Ryzen Overview

Design

Ripple Pandora Ryzen carries a minimal design language with a silver matte finish. The laptop measures just 15mm in thickness and weighs about 0.98kg.

Most parts of the laptop are made out of magnesium die-cast alloy including the top cover and the lid. For ports, it comes with 2X USB 3.2, 1X USB 2.0, 1X USB type C, 1X HDMI, 1X RJ45, 1X DC-in, Micro SD, and Audio I/O. It supports USB PD charging via USB Type-C.

It features a white backlit keyboard with a key travel of 1.4mm and a fairly large Microsoft precision touchpad.

Display

Moving on to the display, it has slim bezels all around the 14-inch IPS LCD panel with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080.

The matte LCD panel goes up to 302 nits and covers 100% sRGB coverage.

Hardware

In terms of processing power, the new version of the Pandora is equipped with a Ryzen 7 5700U processor from AMD. It has 8 cores based on the Zen 2 microarchitecture clocked at 1.8GHz to 4.3GHz (Turbo).

It is a 7nm chip but it is not based on the new Zen 3 architecture that can be seen on the faster Ryzen 7 5800U. For GPU, it has an integrated Radeon Vega 8 with 8 CUs and up to 1900 MHz.

This is paired with 8GB of DDR4 RAM which can be upgraded up to 32GB. For storage, it comes with a 256GB NVMe SSD and has an extra PCIE4 slot for expansion as well.

While this hardware is meant for light and thin laptops, it can do some light gaming at the lowest settings. Ripple also mentions that it comes with an enhanced cooling mechanism and minimal fan noise.

Battery and Others

Pandora Ryzen has a 46.74Wh battery with a max battery life of 10 hours. It comes with a 65W adapter for charging.

Other features include Intel Wi-Fi 6, 2x 2W speakers, Sound Blaster Cinema 6, and Realtek ALC256 D3 mode support.
