Design
The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ brings a symmetrical dual-curvature side design both from the front and back. The front of the device consists of a curved display with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection and minimal bezels. The back has 2 equal-sized protruding camera cut-outs with a smaller third camera. The cameras, flash, and Redmi branding are divided into 3 sections.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus arrives in 3 different color variations: Midnight Black, Moonlight White, and Aurora Purple. While all the colors share the same general design, the Fusion Purple one goes the extra mile with a vegan leather texture and quad-colors in the back. Unfortunately, the vegan leather Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus is not available in Nepal.
The device also has IP68 protection against water and dust, for the first time in the Redmi Note series.

Display
On the display end, the Note 13 Pro+ features a 1.5K 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with 1220 x 2717 resolution. The display has a 120Hz dynamic refresh rate and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space.
The curved display also arrives with a PWM dimming of 1920Hz and reaches a peak brightness of 1800 nits. The screen is HDR10+ and Dolby Vision-rated. While the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus shipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, this one ships with an optical fingerprint scanner placed under the display.
Hardware
The Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra, which has the same specifications as the Mediatek Dimensity 7200. This 5G 4nm chipset comprises two powerful 2.8 GHz Cortex-A715 and six energy-efficient 2.0 GHz Cortex-A510. Handling the graphics processing is the Mali-G610.
To support Dolby Vision for an immersive cinematic experience, the dual stereo speakers support Dolby Atmos too. In terms of memory, the phone comes in three storage variations: 8GB RAM with 256GB storage or 12GB RAM with either 256GB or 512GB storage with no support for microSD card. Both get an upgrade from the predecessor to the LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
Camera
The triple camera setup on the back consists of a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP3 camera sensor, which can perform 4x in-sensor zoom utilizing the high megapixel. The two other cameras are the 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro lens.
The primary camera shoots 4K videos in 24/30fps and 1080p videos in 30/60/120fps. The main camera also features an OIS and PDAF. For selfies and video calls, you will get a 16MP sensor that shoots 1080p at 60fps.
Battery and OS
In the battery segment, Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus arrives with a 5000mAh battery that supports 120W HyperCharge fast charging. The company advertises that the phone can be charged from 0 to 100 percent in 19 minutes.
The phone runs on MIUI 14 based on the Android 13 operating system out of the box. Xiaomi India has confirmed that the phone will get the new HyperOS update as well along with 3 major Android updates.
