The battery is pretty decent with Non-removable 4000mAh and fast charging at 27W (Quick Charge 4+). With medium usage the phone should last about a day. The phone is running MIUI 10 on top of Android Pie (9). The audio systems in the K20 is average overall but if the price is taken into consideration, it does have better quality than the other devices near this price point. It also has the in-display fingerprint scanner and is fast enough.
All the specifications in the device are too good for the price point and it fairly matches with the many top tiered devices.

Redmi K20 Pro Price in Nepal: TBA
We can’t just call K20 pro the “Flagship Killer” unless we compare it with the original killer themselves i.e. the One Plus 7.
OnePlus 7 vs Redmi K20 Pro: Which is Better?
Starting with the design, both the phones have that premium design quality in them with their stylish glass body. But when we talk about looks, I guess the clear winner would be Redmi K20 Pro. The OnePlus 7 has a plain body look where as the Redmi K20 Pro has that blackish-reddish finish which makes it look really cool.
Also, the external design of the Redmi K20 Pro includes the headphone jack and a notification LED. I don’t know if everybody likes the headphone jack but like me many prefer to have it. On the other hand, the thing that K20 Pro falls behind is in case of Audio. The OnePlus has a dual stereo speaker whereas the K20 Pro has a single file speaker at the bottom.
Display
Now moving on to display, both the phones have the same display so I guess they’re both equals in terms of display. However, the bezel-less display on the K20 Pro is surely a plus point. The bezel-less display also lacks something. I’m talking about the face-unlock feature. The tear drop cut-out surely makes a difference when unlocking your phone while on the K20 Pro, the pop camera does take some time. The protection on the One Plus is also better as it contains Gorilla Glass 6 which beats the Gorilla Glass 5 on the K20 pro.

OS
Both the phones have the same processors and the same setup in them i.e. the Snapdragon 855 with 6/8GB of RAM. Both these phones are super-fast, smooth and there is no performance issue in either of them. OS wise the K20 pro comes with MIUI 10 on top of Android 9 and One Plus 7 comes with oxygen OS 9.5 and comparison wise the Oxygen OS is a lot better.
Cameras
Then let’s the cameras. The K20 Pro comes with triple cameras in the rear with 48MP wide, 8MP Telephoto and 13MP ultrawide having OIS+EIS and videos can be shot 4K at 60fps. Whereas the OnePlus 7 comes with dual cameras with 48MP+5MP setup having EIS and 4K at 60fps. The One Plus has slightly better photo quality with more contrast and better details in both low light and bright conditions.
In case of front cameras, the portrait mode and edge-detection in the K20 Pro is better. The Ultra-Wide is also quite impressive in K20 Pro. The video qualities are almost the same in both phones but with OIS the videos seem more stable in the OnePlus 7. The K20 pro has more natural feel to it and the One Plus 7 has a little warmer feel to it.
Battery
Now, moving on the battery and Fast Charging. The One Plus 7 has 3700mAh whereas the K20 Pro has 4000mAh battery capacity. Depending on the usage, the K20 pro certainly better battery life. In case of charging speed though, the one plus is superior. The One Plus 7 takes around 75 minutes to charge fully while the K20 Pro takes 95 minutes.
Pricings
And last but not the least is the pricing. The base model of K20 Pro will most probably be launched at around NRs. 52k-54k whereas the current price of the base variant of OnePlus 7 is 66,999. As we can see at the price range of 52k-54k the K20 provides almost all the features that the OnePlus 7 currently has.
So overall, in the price point of Rs 52k-54k, the Redmi K20 Pro is packed with many features which are at the top tier and compares with the pricy flagship phones. So, in conclusion the phone is certainly a beast and it compares well with the flagship phones of 2019 and can be called the “Flagship Killer” in the price that it comes.
4 more days and we will have our killer. We will be reviewing the phone once it arrives. Till then Stay tuned for more contents like these.
