Redmi Buds 4 Lite with 12mm Driver Launched in Nepal

Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Buds 4 Lite in Nepal, which is the successor to the budget TWS earbud Redmi Buds 3 Lite that was released in 2022.

Redmi Buds 4 Lite Overview

Design

The Redmi Buds 4 Lite features a similar rounded rectangular magnetic case to its predecessor and is available in black and white, as well as a new orange color option.

However, the earbuds themselves have undergone a design change: they no longer have silicone ear tips and instead feature a downward-pointing stem design, in contrast to the previous bean-shaped in-ear design.

Weighing in at around 35g, the case with the earbuds is accompanied by an individual earbud that weighs approximately 3.92g.

Other features remain unchanged. The Redmi Buds 4 Lite has a touch-sensitive panel that enables users to answer and reject calls, control music, and activate or deactivate low latency mode. Furthermore, the earbuds have an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance.

Features

The Buds 4 Lite come equipped with a new 12mm dynamic driver, an upgrade from the 6mm driver featured in the Redmi Buds 3 Lite.

In addition to this, the Buds 4 Lite also offers a low-latency mode for gaming. To enable or disable this feature, simply long-press the touch area on both the left and right earbuds simultaneously for 1.5 seconds.

Moreover, the earbuds allow for simple touch controls, with double-tapping to play or pause music, as well as answer incoming calls. Triple-tapping skips to the next track or rejects/ends a call.

Furthermore, the Buds 4 Lite are equipped with AI noise cancellation for calls, which effectively reduces ambient noise and enhances the clarity of your voice during calls for the listener on the other end, according to Xiaomi.

Battery and Connectivity

Xiaomi has stated that each earbud has a 35mAh battery, while the charging case boasts a 320mAh battery. According to the company, the earbuds can last up to 5 hours on a single charge, while combined with the charging case, they provide up to 20 hours of battery life.

As for connectivity, the Buds 4 Lite supports Bluetooth 5.3 and Google Fast Pair. With Fast Pair, Android users can connect the earbuds to their devices simply by opening the cover.
