The Redmi A1+ price in Nepal is Rs. 12,499 for the 2/32GB variant and Rs. 13,999 for the 3/32GB variant. The phone is available at mobile retail stores across Nepal.

Xiaomi Redmi A1+ Overview
Design
The design of the Xiaomi Redmi A1+ is the same as the Redmi A1. It comes in three color options, namely Light Green, Light Blue, and Black. The design of the rear camera setup has taken inspiration from the Mi 11 and Mi 11 Lite.
The phone features a plastic body with a leather-like texture that helps with grip and avoids smudges. The fingerprint sensor is given at the back. Both the power and volume buttons are on the left side of the device, while the bottom side houses a 3.5mm headphone jack, micro-USB port, and mic.
The dual SIM card tray on the right has a dedicated slot for a microSD card. Interestingly, the speaker is located on the top.

Display
It has a 6.52-inch HD+ LCD display with a waterdrop notch. It has an 88.89% screen-to-body ratio and up to 400nits of typical brightness. The display does not support a high refresh rate.
Hardware
Under the hood, the phone is equipped with an entry-level quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 chipset that was announced in 2018. It is manufactured using a 12nm fabrication process and has four Arm Cortex-A53 clocked at up to 2.0GHz.
The Redmi A1 comes with 2/3GB LPDDR4X RAM and 32GB eMMC 5.1 storage.
Camera
The back features an 8MP main camera accompanied by a QVGA auxiliary camera. For selfies and front videos, there is a 5MP camera on the front.
The phone can shoot video up to 1080p at 30fps.
Battery and OS
The phone comes with a 5000mAh battery. For charging, it uses a micro-USB port, which only supports 10W charging.
Redmi A1 comes installed with Android 12 Go edition. The OS is clean and free of bloatware.
