Realme C61 Overview
Design
By looks, the Relame C61 looks pretty standard and comes in a simple design without any bells or whistles. It has a boxy shape, with flat side rails and a flat rear panel. Color-wise, the phone comes in two finishes, Safari Green and Marble Black.
The cameras have their own separate cutouts and are stacked on top of each other. You can find the flash module resting a bit to the right of the cameras. All other hardware features, like the fingerprint/power button, volume rockers, USB-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, and SIM card slot, are located along the side rails.
One notable thing about the Realme C61 is their emphasis on how durable this phone is. The device is IP54-rated for water and dust resistance. Plus, it has ArmorShell Protection, which is a mix of features like metal frames inside the phone and reinforced glass that comes together to make the phone, extra tough and resilient.

Display
Moving onto the display, you get a 6.74-inch, IPS LCD panel that has a maximum refresh rate of 90Hz.
The HD panel has a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels which gives a pixel density of 270 ppi. Besides that, the waterdrop notch screen has a maximum typical brightness of 450 nits and an HBM mode that increases the max brightness to 560 nits.
Hardware
Hardware-wise, the phone has a 12nm UNISOC Tiger T612 processor powering the smartphone. The octa-core chip has 2x 1.8 GHz Cortex-A75 and 6x 1.8 GHz Cortex-A55 high-powered and low-powered cores respectively.
Added to the main processor is a Mali-G57 coprocessor that specializes in handling the graphics when playing games or when performing animations while navigating the user interface.
In terms of memory, Nepalese customers will currently be getting the 4/64GB and the 6/128GB variants. The phone allows you to virtually extend the memory and also supports a MicroSD card.
Cameras
Onto the cameras, the phone comes with three cameras in total. Two on the back and one on the front. Starting from the rear, there is one 32MP main camera that has an aperture of f/1.8 and is capable of taking Full-HD 1080p videos at 30 frames per second.
Accompanying the main camera is an auxiliary lens that has an unspecified purpose and, on the front, a wide 5MP selfie camera. All in all, the cameras serve a more practical or tool-like purpose and don’t have anything special going on to become a highlight feature of the phone.
Battery and OS
Powering the smartphone is a 5000mAh battery that charges via a USB-C connector. It charges at a maximum rate of 10W which is pretty slow considering nowadays more and more budget smartphones come with faster charging capabilities.
In terms of OS, the phone comes with a full Android 14 with Realme UI 5.0 skin applied on top. Realme has not mentioned for how long the company will provide software support for the phone, but they have guaranteed that the smartphone will maintain operational fluency for 48 months under normal usage conditions.
