Realme C2 is a budget phone from the sub brand of Oppo. We had seen plenty of mid-range phone from Realme in Nepal but a proper budget phone was lacking. Now we are getting one. This phone directly competes with the likes of Samsung Galaxy M20 and Honor 8A. It costs Rs. 14,290 and is available at Daraz right now. Check Realme C2 on Daraz!
Realme C2 is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 processor from the inside. This processor is paired with two or three gigabytes of RAM. The variant that is currently available in Nepal for 14K is the 2GB version. This is not the most powerful processor in the market but it can handle the everyday tasks pretty well.

Realme C2 comes with 16GB of internal storage. This is too low for even if you only use stock apps. If you shoot more than one or two photos, you will have to invest in an SD card. That is a dedicated card slot instead which means you can use two SIM and a memory card side by side.

Other things that you need to know about this phone is that it packs a 6.1-inch HD+ IPS LCD display. It has a V-shaped notch and not-that-big chin at the bottom. For a budget phone this price, we couldn’t ask for more.
Inside, a 4,000mAh battery gives life-juice to the phone. Even if you are a heavy user, this phone will last you a whole day. At the back, there’s a dual 13MP+2MP camera setup. The 13MP sensor is the main lens while the 2MP lens is a depth sensor. At the front, you get a five-megapixel selfie camera. It’s a budget phone, so don’t expect the picture quality to blow you away.

I wished, with this RAM and storage, the phone had Android Go instead of full fledged Android. This would have given Realme C2 an edge in terms of performance and fluidity. But Realme gave us Android Pie instead. That’s fine too.
For Rs. 14,290, Realme C2 will compete with phones like Honor 8A and Samsung Galaxy M20. Which phone you prefer will rely on your design and performance choices. I suggest that you go look at these phones at the physical stores, see which feel the best to you, and buy that phone.
