TechLekh Verdict
If you want a premium leather design and do not care much about the ultrawide angle camera, you can consider Realme 11 Pro.
Realme 11 Pro is a well-designed phone. It uses a premium faux leather finish that sets it apart from the rest of the mid-range phones. Likewise, it has a good display, good performance, and a decent main camera.
But, it feels like a tweaked version of the Realme 10 Pro plus in various departments. Also, it misses out on an ultrawide-angle camera, a major downgrade compared to its competitor. If you look at the Redmi Note 12 Pro, it has a versatile camera system and provides almost similar performance. Similarly, the Poco X5 pro provides similar performance at a cheaper price tag.
Pros
- Excellent and fluid curved AMOLED display
- Premium leather finish
- Good performance
- Good stereo speaker setup
- Solid battery life
- Good fast charging
- Good software experience
- A decent main camera
Cons
- Plethora of bloatware apps and ads
- No ultrawide-angle camera
- No microSD card support
- No ingress protection rating against dust and water
Realme has been pumping out good mid-range phones recently. They launched the Realme 10 Pro Plus 5G earlier this year and followed up with the Realme 11 Pro 5G.
Realme 11 Pro 5G price in Nepal is Rs. 47,999 for the sole 8/256GB variant. It is the successor to the Realme 10 Pro and it brings a fresh design.
The 11 Pro boasts similar specs as the Realme 10 Pro Plus but it has the same premium design as the Realme 11 Pro Plus. Let’s say, it is kind of a hybrid between these two.
So, is the hybrid of the Realme 10 Pro Plus and the Realme 11 Pro Plus good? Find out in this review.

Realme 11 Pro Review
Premium Leather Design
- 161.6 x 73.9 x 8.7 mm (or 8.2 mm – Astral Black)
- 191 or 185 g (Astral Black)
- Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by)
- Plastic frame and leather back
The vegan leather surface on top of the plastic back of the Realme 11 Pro feels premium to the touch. The combination of beige and bronze colors on our sunrise beige review unit gives this device an elegant look.
The rear panel and the front glass both curve towards the plastic frame. The circular camera module is catchy and gives this device a unique characteristic. Meanwhile, the zipper design in the middle imitates a runway.
Realme 11 Pro looks absolutely premium and the leather finish feels excellent in hand.
On the front, it has a hole punch in the middle of the screen and it doesn’t come with any ingress protection, not even IP53.
Down bottom, It has a USB-Type C on the bottom flanked by a SIM slot and primary mic on the left and a speaker on the right.
On top, there’s an outlet for a speaker and a secondary mic. The earpiece acts as a second speaker with an extra outlet on the top. The speakers are loud and clear. For a midrange phone, I like the speaker quality of it.
Also, the phone has an in-display optical fingerprint sensor that is fast and reliable.

Impressive Curved Display
- 6.7-inch curved FHD+ AMOLED
- FHD+ display (1080 x 2412)
- 120Hz refresh rate
The 6.7-inch 1080p OLED panel has 10-bit color support and has a max refresh rate of 120Hz. Likewise, it supports HDR 10+ in both YouTube and Netflix.
The curved panel has a pre-applied screen protector but Realme hasn’t mentioned any kind of protection like Gorilla Glass. The OLED panel has vibrant colors and deep blacks. It is more than bright enough in outdoor conditions as well.
For the price, the display of the Realme 11 Pro is pretty impressive.
The panel used on the Realme 11 Pro looks and feels similar to the display used on the Realme 10 Pro+. It has the same 2160Hz PWM dimming rate for reduced eye strain.
I am not quite satisfied with the dynamic refresh rate though. In the dynamic option, the screen uses 120hz in the main menu and settings page. The refresh rate drops down to 90Hz on most of the apps like Instagram, Facebook, and Spotify. Similarly, it drops down to 60Hz in YouTube and the camera app, which is expected. So, if you want a full 120Hz smoothness, you should use the manual option.
Performance
- MediaTek Dimensity 7050 (6nm)
- Octa-core (2×2.6 GHz Cortex-A78 & 6×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55)
- Mali-G68 MC4
- 8GB RAM 256GB storage
The Realme 11 Pro is equipped with the Dimensity 7050 chipset which is a rebranded Dimensity 1080 chipset. Thus, the performance of the Realme 10 Pro is on par with the Realme 10 Pro+.
In terms of memory, it comes with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.1 storage.
Benchmark
The Dimensity 7050 is a decent performer but it doesn’t provide the best performance for the price. As you can see in the benchmark, the Snapdragon 778G on the Poco X5 Pro delivers slightly better performance.
Gaming
In my day-to-day life, the phone performed wonderfully. Everything runs smoothly and without any hiccups. The phone also does not heat up much, so that’s good. The gaming performance of the device is also good.
I was able to run Genshin Impact on Low Graphics and a 45 FPS Frame limit, achieving a stable 41.8 FPS, while PUBG Mobile maintained an average of 59.5 FPS on Smooth graphics and Extreme FPS settings.
Additionally, I was able to achieve the 39.5 average FPS at Ultra FPS and HD Graphics in PUBG Mobile.
Camera
- Rear Camera: 100 MP, f/1.8, 26mm (wide), PDAF, OIS
- 2MP, f/2.4, (macro)
- Video: 4K@30fps, 1080p@30/60/120/480fps
The circular camera module houses a 100MP OIS primary camera and a 2MP macro camera. Likewise, it has a 16MP selfie camera on the front.
Main Camera
The main camera takes good photos in daylight with balanced exposure. The dynamic range is wide and it retains detail in the shadows as well. Switching to 100MP, it captures slightly more detail but it loses out on dynamic range. I also noticed that the exposure is not consistent in 100MP photos. Plus, you do not get HDR in 100MP mode.
Portraits
Most of the time, when taking portrait shots in Portrait mode, it does a good job of blurring the background and separating the subject from it. However, on certain occasions, it struggles to accurately define the edges of the subject.
In terms of capturing skin tones, the phone produces natural-looking results, which is good.
Front Camera
The front camera is not great considering its price tag. The photos appear sharp in daylight but they may appear a bit soft in low light conditions and indoors. However, the dynamic range is wide and the color is similar to the main camera.
Video
The phone can shoot video at up to 4K at 30fps and the 4K videos look sharp and detailed. But, I was not impressed with the 1080p videos. The 1080 videos lack detail and sharpness.
While electronic image stabilization (EIS) is effective at stabilizing 1080p 30fps footage, 1080p at 60fps and 4K footage tend to be shaky.
Solid Battery Life
- 5000mAh battery
- 67W Fast Charging Support
The Realme 11 Pro comes with a 5000mAh battery, the same capacity as the Realme 10 Pro Plus. It has a good battery life as I was consistently getting about 7 hours of screen on time.
The SuperVOOC charger only takes 50 mins to fully charge the Realme 11 Pro from 0%.
Even if you happen to need to charge the device in the middle of the day, you do not need to worry as it supports 67W fast charging. Surprisingly, the phone comes with an 80W charger.
Software
- Android 13
- Realme 4.0 UI
The Realme 11 Pro ships with Realme 4.0, which is based on Android 13. This has more or less the same experience as the Realme 10 Pro Plus.
I like Realme’s software experience. The UI is smooth and gives a lot of customization options. I haven’t run into any bugs or issues. So, Realme UI works flawlessly on the Realme 11 Pro.
But one major complaint I have about this is that it comes with a ton of bloatware apps and ads. For a phone of this price, it should not have happened.
So this is my Realme 11 Pro Plus review. What do you think of the Realme 11 Pro Plus? Let me know in the comments!
