Poco has launched the Poco M3 Pro 5G in Nepal.

Poco M3 Pro 5G price in Nepal is Rs. 23,999 for the 4/64GB variant. It will soon be available for purchase via Xiaomi authorized stores, Daraz, and Sastodeal.

Design

Poco M3 Pro 5G has a glossy glass-like rear panel with a massive black accent around the camera module.

There’s a punch hole on the center top on the front, and the fingerprint is integrated onto the power button. It comes in three color options: Poco Yellow, Power Black, and Cool Blue.

Display

M3 boasts a 6.5-inches IPS LCD 90HZ panel with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.

The LCD panel is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and has a peak brightness of 500 nits under HBM (High Brightness Mode). Poco mentions that its display can automatically switch between 90Hz, 60Hz, 50H, and 30Hz depending on the content.

Hardware

While the vanilla M3 has a Snapdragon 662 chipset, the M3 Pro rocks a Dimensity 700 5G chipset from MediaTek. This is paired with 4/6GB of RAM of UFS 2.2 storage.

MediaTek 700 5G is a 7nm chipset with Octa-core (2×2.2 GHz Cortex-A76 & 6×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55) and Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It is a lower clocked version of the MediaTek 800U chipset used on the vivo V21.

The 5G-CA (2CC) modem integrated on the Dimensity 700 also enables dual 5G SIM standby.

In terms of camera, Poco M3 Pro 5G has a triple camera setup with a 48MP main sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. The main sensor is a 48MP OmniVision OV48B 1/2″ sensor with 0.8µm pixels, a Quad-Bayer filter, and PDAF.

Likewise, it has an 8MP OmniVision OV8856 sensor for selfies. M3 Pro 5G can record videos up to 1080p 30fps from the main camera and there’s no option for 60fps either.

M3 Pro 5G is powered by a big 5000mAh battery paired with 18W fast charging.

Furthermore, it runs on MIUI 12 on top of Android 11. Other features include NFC, IR Blaster, and Bluetooth 5.1.

The M3 Pro brings 5G capability for an affordable price along with a capable MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset. But, it doesn’t get an ultrawide angle sensor.
