- Pathao Nepal announces to expand its services to 17 new cities in Nepal.

Pathao Nepal announced that it would expand its service to 17 more cities in Nepal.
The ride-sharing app will operate in nine major cities of Koshi Province, including Biratnagar, Damak, Urlabari, Biratchowk, Itahari, Inaruwa, Dharan, Birtamod, and Bhadrapur.
In Bagmati Province, Hetauda will join the list along with existing Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, and Chitwan. Moreover, Pathao Nepal will also be available in the much-awaited Pokhara City from Gandaki Province.
Butwal, Nepalganj, Bhairahawa from Lumbini Province, and Dhangadhi from Sudurpaschim Province, and two cities in Madhesh Province—Birgunj and Janakpur will join the new list.
With this, Pathao Nepal will cover 21 major cities in Nepal. The registration process for Bike riders has already started in these cities.
After the expansion, Pathao Nepal will soon offer Inter-City Commuting features. And with this expansion, the network will grow bigger.
Here’s a quick list of new cities where Pathao will be operating soon:
- Koshi Province: Biratnagar, Damak, Urlabari, Biratchowk, Itahari, Inaruwa, Dharan, Birtamod, and Bhadrapur
- Madhesh Province: Janakpur and Birgunj
- Bagmati Province: Hetauda
- Gandaki Province: Pokhara
- Lumbini Province: Nepalganj, Bharahawa, and Butwal
- Sudurpaschim Province: Dhangadhi
Currently, Pathao engages over 200,000 individuals across its various services, including more than 190,000 bike riders, over 10,000 taxi drivers, and more than 5,000 individuals registered for food delivery. In addition to rides, Pathao provides services such as Pathao Food and parcel delivery.
Pathao asserts that it offers the highest ride-sharing insurance amount in Nepal, with coverage of up to Rs 1 million in case of death or dismemberment due to an accident, and up to Rs 100,000 for medical treatment.
The company provides 24/7 customer care services to handle customer concerns, feedback, and suggestions.
Pathao’s services are accessible to both Android and iPhone users through the Pathao mobile app, which, according to the company’s data, has been downloaded more than 5 million times.
