Nepal SBI Bank now has a robot named ‘Pari’ to guide customers to different stations for transactions at the Durbarmarg branch.
Pari is the first commercial humanoid robot designed and manufactured wholly in Nepal with no parts imported from outside. It was developed by Paaila Technology to be of assistance in a bank. It works through voice commands and an interactive touch screen software.
As per the bank’s statement, the Durbarmarg branch of Nepal SBI is the first inTouch branch all over the world to have a robot greet and assist people in banking.
