2018 has been a good year for Nokia. It has launched phones like Nokia 6.1 Plus and 3.1 in Nepal which has been met with lots of love from the audience. And it has done well not only in Nepal but all over the world. To keep the momentum going, Nokia has launched yet another phone this November and it’s named Nokia 3.1 Plus.
Nokia 3.1 Plus has a design similar to the Nokia 6.1 Plus. It doesn’t have a notch though. The back is made of metal only to be capped by plastics at the top and the bottom. This gives the phone much better network reception quality. Nokia 3.1 Plus has a 6 inchHD+ IPS LCD screen with an 18:9 aspect ratio. We wished the panel was Full HD resolution but HD screen is what Nokia has given to us.
On the inside, the phone has a MediaTek Helio P22 processor which is comparable to the new Snapdragon 710 processor. But the performance isn’t anything astounding. With 3GB RAM, this phone will give you a good enough performance in daily tasks like calling, texting, and app switching. It also helps that this phone is a part of Google Android One program, which ensures timely version updates for two years, monthly security patches and a bloatware free interface. Don’t expect this phone to be a gaming beast though. You can run titles like PUBG, but only in the lowest settings possible.

Nokia 3.1 Plus Price in Nepal:Â Rs. 23,999
The Nokia 3.1 Plus sports a dual rear camera setup 13-megapixel primary lens with f/2.0 aperture + 5-megapixel secondary lens with f/2.4 aperture. The front-facing camera is an 8-megapixel shooter with f/2.2 aperture. Like with all lower-midrange devices out there, the cameras will capture decent photos in good lighting conditions but will struggle a little in low light.
Now, comes the best part of the device: the battery. It has a 3500mAh cell inside that has to power a lower-res display and a bloatware-free Android OS. So, this device will last you all day even with a heavy usage. And that is the main goal of this device: to be a lasting multimedia consuming device. That also explains the large screen. If you are looking for something to watch movies on while commuting to and from your work or anywhere else, Nokia 3.1 plus is worth looking at. It is a good multimedia device. But for 24K, Nokia should have given us a better screen and better storage options. For the specs, Mi A2 lite still beats Nokia 3.1 Plus under 25K segment.
