The all-new Nissan Magnite Facelift has been launched in Nepal.

Pioneer Motors, the authorized distributor of Nissan vehicles in Nepal, has launched the latest Magnite iteration for the Nepali market.

It is a Magnite Facelift featuring bolder exterior design changes, premium interior aesthetics, class-leading tech, and safety features.

Nissan Magnite price in Nepal starts from Rs. 34.75 Lakhs to 52.99 Lakhs.

The Nissan Magnite lineup starts with the Visia (XE) variant at the lowest price, while the top-tier Tekna+ (XV Pre) commands a premium price of Rs. 52.99 Lakhs. Between these two, there are 11 additional variants, each with its own pricing.

The previous iteration had a starting price of Rs. 33.99 Lakhs. However, with the latest model introducing significant feature upgrades, the increase in the base price seems justified.

Nissan offers the Magnite in multiple trim levels, including Visia, Accenta, N Connecta, and Tekna+. These trims come with both Non-Turbo and Turbo engine options, paired with either a Manual or Automated Manual transmission.

Design

The all-new Nissan Magnite gets updated in both styling and features.

It is based on three Japanese design concepts: KABUKU, SUI, and INASE. These concepts blend to create a pioneering design with an attitude inspired by India.

The front section comes with a Signature Nissan Grille, Bi-Projector headlamp setup, LED L-shaped DRLs, and a center-positioned Fog Lamp.

However, the Facelift version brings a larger grill with even larger chrome surrounds. Moreover, the front bumper has also been redesigned significantly.

Moving to the side, the design feels premium with a Blacked-out Roof (for dual-tone versions), Black Cladding, Chrome accents, and Side Skirts.

It looks very similar to the previous version. However, it gets a newly designed 16-inch Alloy Wheels.

Similarly, it still sports a Wide-Split Signature Tail Lamp at the rear. Nevertheless, Nissan has revised it with a Chrome Strip that connects the two Tail Lamps.

The interior now comes with a dual-tone layout with extensive leatherette finishing, improving its premium appeal.

Performance

Nissan Magnite is available in two engines: Non-Turbo and Turbo.

The 1.0L non-Turbo Petrol engine generates a max power of 72 PS at 6250 rpm and a max torque of 96 Nm at 3400 – 3500 rpm. It comes with a 5-speed transmission, available in both Manual (MT) and Automated Manual (AMT) options, and pairs with a 40-liter fuel tank.

The 1.0L Turbo Petrol engine generates a max power of 100 PS at 5000 rpm and a max torque of 160 Nm at 2800-3600 rpm. It is mated to a 5-speed MT transmission with a 40-liter fuel tank capacity.

Nissan has not updated the performance figures. These powertrain figures are the same as the previous iterations.

Additional Details

MacPherson Strut with Lower Transverse Link and Twin Tube Telescopic Shock Absorber handle the suspension duties.

The dimensions are 3994 mm in length, 1758 mm in width, and 1572 mm in height. Moreover, the wheelbase is 2500 mm.

Nissan Magnite gets a 205 mm ground clearance. And, the kerb weight is 1019 kg – 1103 kg, with the Turbo-engine setup coming at the heavier side.
