My Second Teacher, an e-Learning platform, will be the main sponsor of the National Cricket Team men’s jersey.
The edutech platform is a product of Innovate Nepal Group.
National Cricket team captain Gyanendra Malla and Sulav Budhathoki, group chairman and CEO of Innovate Nepal Group (ING Group) unveiled the New Jersey on Monday. The jersey has logos of ING Group and Islington College.
According to the press issued by the Adpad, Innovate Tech, a company under ING Group, has entered into a partnership with Adpad (the commercial right holders for the Nepal Cricket Team Men’s Jersey), acquiring all the available branding spots for the T20Is and ODIs as per the ICC’s clothing regulations.
All matches played by Nepal during this tenure will feature Innovate Tech’s flagship brand: My Second Teacher, an eLearning platform, as the main sponsor. The jersey will also carry logos of ING Group and Islington College.
Adpad had acquired commercial rights for the national cricket team men’s jersey for the T20Is and ODIs as per the ICC regulation from the Cricket Association of Nepal around three months ago.
Adpad has now partnered with the ING Group for sponsorship. The agreement will be effective for one year till March 2022. According to an ING group, the company has also been planning to extend the agreement after the date. However, as of now, they have not decided anything concrete on this plan.
“We believe, through this partnership, we can promote education, not just our tool, but education as a whole through the medium of sports and that will always be our primary goal,” said Budhathoki.
“We decided to go with Innovate Tech because it gives a great message of sports and education going hand in hand,” said Sudip Thapa, Chairman, Adpad, and ANS Group of Companies.
My Second Teacher features interactive video lessons based on modern pedagogy, artificial intelligence enabled diagnostic reports, custom test papers, and online and offline tutor support for students, teachers, parents, and school leaders. In the first phase, they have learning materials for Grade 10 (SEE) students. Within a year, they are planning to extend their learning materials to other levels.
