Leapmotor C10: The New Family-Friendly Electric SUV Launched in Nepal

Leapmotor C10 is now officially available in Nepal.

Shangrila Motors, the authorized distributor of Leapmotor vehicles in Nepal, has introduced the Leapmotor C10 to the Nepali EV market.

C10 is the first global product from Leapmotor which has been rigorously designed and tested for meeting the global standards.

Also, C10 is the first model from Leapmotor that is based on the LEAP3.0 Architecture.

This architecture supports technologies such as Cell-to-Chassis (CTC) in which the battery fits neatly into the vehicle frame. Moreover, this platform also features Lidar-Based Autonomous Driving Solutions which can be seen in the C10.

Design

The Leapmotor C10 features a square outline that avoids looking boxy, thanks to its well-designed curves and sleek lines.

At the front, it showcases a minimalistic and clean design typical of modern EVs. Slim lighting elements stretch across the front, with LED headlamps connected by horizontal LED DRLs.

The grille is nearly absent, while the lower fascia includes small air intakes with vertical openings at the corners, likely for aerodynamic efficiency.

Performance

The Leapmotor is powered by a 160 kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM). It generates a max power of 217.5 PS and a max torque of 320 Nm.

It is supported by a 69.9 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery with a WLTP Claimed 420 Km range. Moreover, the charging time from 0 to 100% is around 10 hours with a 7.2 kW AC Charger.

Under fast charging conditions, Leapmotor C10 can charge from 30% to 80% in 30 minutes.

It is capable of achieving a top speed of 170 Kmph with the ability to go from 0 to 100 Km/h in 7.68 seconds.

The Cell-to-Chassis Battery design allows the C10 to offer 17% more space which would not have been possible if it were not built on the LEAP3.0 Architecture.
