Leapmotor B10 is coming soon to Nepal.
Shangrila Motors, the authorized distributor of Leapmotor electric vehicles in Nepal, is preparing to expand its lineup with a new C-segment electric SUV.
The Leapmotor B10 will serve as a more affordable iteration of the C10, but it will be based on the newer Leapmotor 3.5 Platform rather than the 3.0 Platform used in the C10.
The 3.5 Platform is a modular EV architecture with several advancements, including support for 800V high-voltage systems, cell-to-chassis (CTC) integration, 27-in-1 thermal management systems, AI integration, and advanced intelligent driving systems. These innovations further enhance the modern capabilities and efficiency of Leapmotor vehicles.
With this latest launch, Leapmotor aims to comprehensively address the diverse needs of the Nepali market—offering an affordable hatchback (T03), a mid-size SUV (B10), and an executive SUV (C10).
Founded in 2015, Leapmotor is a Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer that gained momentum after the Stellantis Group acquired a 20% stake in 2023. This partnership has been instrumental in facilitating Leapmotor’s expansion into the European market.
The Leapmotor B10 is set to launch in India and Europe by late 2025. However, Leapmotor Nepal has confirmed its intentions to unveil the product at the first-ever NIAMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025 in August 2025.
What is the Price of the Leapmotor B10 in Nepal?
The Leapmotor B10 price in Nepal has not yet been revealed.
The final pricing of the B10 will depend on its motor specifications, battery capacity, and feature set, which are yet to be officially revealed. However, Leapmotor Nepal has confirmed that the B10 will be arriving soon in the Nepali market.
That said, Leapmotor is expected to price the B10 lower than the outgoing C10, which currently retails for around Rs. 69.99 Lakhs. To compete effectively in the highly competitive EV segment, the company will likely position the B10’s pricing closer to rivals like the MG ZS EV and BYD Atto 3.
While the overall details are scarce at this point, we will continue to update this article as more details come to light.

Leapmotor B10 Overview
Design
The Leapmotor B10 marks a bold design language for the brand, combining futuristic design elements with premium sophistication with Gravity Field design.
The front section exhibits modernity with its closed-off front grille, highlighted by sharp LED headlamps that stretch outward. Right above the headlamp housing, it gets three-strip LED DRLs, which create a signature on-road presence.
The air intake and sculpted contours at limited to the lower bumper, introducing a dynamic character to the front fascia.
Coming to the side, it carries a clean and minimalistic profile. It gets a flowing silhouette with strong coupe-inspired elements. Visual side elements like the flush door handles maintain the smooth surface and reduce wind resistance, while 18-inch alloy wheels with aerodynamic styling give it a planted and confident stance.
It follows the design theme set forth by the bigger C10, but has evolved considerably in this iteration.
At the rear, the B10 embraces a similar minimalist, high-tech aesthetic. It gets a continuous full-width, stripped LED light bar that stretches across the back. It echoes the design up front, creating a balanced and symmetrical appeal. Moreover, the clean lines, a spoiler-integrated rear window element result in a sleek finish.
However, the Leapmotor has done a bit of cost-cutting here by including defrosting copper lines but leaving out a rear-whipper.
Inside, the Leapmotor B10 creates a minimalistic yet immersive tech-focused environment. It centers around a 14.6-inch floating touchscreen display seamlessly integrated into a minimal dashboard.

The drivers will get a compact but customizable 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster. Similarly, the flat-bottom two-spoke steering wheel includes tactile controls for quick access to key features.
The overall materials are premium and well-finished, creating a premium experience thanks to soft-touch, leatherette upholstery, and metallic air vents. However, the key highlight includes a mounting point for the front passenger seat. It offers a versatile usability for mounting accessories without eliminating the glove compartment.
Other customizable experiences include 256-color Ambient lighting, which, when combined with the 12-speaker sound system, offers an upscale in-cabin experience.
B10 sports a 1.8 square meter panoramic sunroof for the added sense of openness and brightness to the cabin, enhancing the feeling of space.
Additionally, the Leapmotor B10 comes in Starry Night Blue, Dawn Mist Purple, Electric White, Tundra Grey, Galaxy Silver, Sky Veil Grey, and Metallic Black colors.
Performance
Leapmotor B10 comes in three configurations in the international market.
The 510 Comfort version is powered by a 132kW TZ180XS101 Motor. It generates a max power of 179 PS and a max torque of 175 Nm. It is supported by a 56.2 kWh LFP Battery with 510 km CLTC range, which can charge from 30% to 80% in 20 minutes with the DC Fast Charging.
Similarly, the 510 Joy and 600 Joy versions are powered by a 160 kW TZ180XY005 Motor. It generates a max power of 220PS and a max torque of 240Nm.
Additionally, the 510 Joy “Mid” variant has a 160kW motor and 56.2 kWh battery options. Whereas, the top variant is supported by a 67.1 kWh LFP battery with a 600 km CLTC range, which can DC charge from 30% to 80% in 20 minutes.
Leapmotor equips the top variants of the B10 with 128-line Hesai ATK LiDAR sensors, three mmWave radars, two front-facing 8MP cameras, and a 360-degree camera system, all powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Ride 8650 SoC to deliver advanced ADAS capabilities.
It’s important to note that manufacturers rarely include LiDAR technology in mid-size SUVs, especially at this price point. Although Leapmotor equipped the C10 with LiDAR support, the variant launched in Nepal excluded it.
If Leapmotor successfully introduces LiDAR-equipped B10 variants in Nepal, it could become a true segment disruptor in terms of tech and safety features.

McPherson Strut with Stabilizer Bar and Multi-link handles the suspension duties on the front and rear, respectively.
The model measures 4515 mm in length, 1885 mm in width, and 1655 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2735 mm.
The ground clearance for the Leapmotor B10 is 170 mm. And, the kerb weight is 1670-1705 kg.

Rivals
Leapmotor B10 rivals the MG S5 and BYD Atto 3, sharing similar motor and battery configurations, yet each presents its distinct characteristics.
The BYD Atto 3 is equipped with a 100 kW motor and comes with either a 49.92 kWh or a 60.48 kWh Blade battery, prioritizing safety and efficiency. Similarly, the MG S5 also features a 100 kW motor, available with 49.1 kWh and 62.2 kWh battery options, utilizing one of the thinnest lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery designs in its class.
In contrast, the Leapmotor B10 offers more powerful options with either a 132 kW or a 160 kW motor, paired with a 56.2 kWh or a 67.1 kWh LFP battery. Given the competitive landscape, it is likely that Leapmotor will introduce a 100 kW motor variant to markets like Nepal, allowing them to compete more directly with their rivals.
The BYD Atto 3 has successfully established itself as the best-selling EV in Nepal. Its appeal lies in its traditional SUV styling, practical features, and a well-rounded design that meets the everyday needs of consumers, making it one of the most popular choices in the market.
On the other hand, the MG S5 takes a step further with a more modern SUV design, offering a fresh and contemporary look while maintaining a price point slightly below that of the BYD Atto 3. MG has tailored the S5’s features and styling to attract urban consumers seeking modernity without overstretching their budget.
Amidst such competition, the Leapmotor B10 carves out its unique niche with a futuristic exterior design and a sophisticated, premium interior that utilizes high-quality materials.
Leapmotor Nepal has not revealed full specifications and features for the B10. Nevertheless, if Leapmotor can strike a smart balance between pricing and features, the B10 could pose a serious challenge to established brands like BYD and MG in this growing segment.
