According to a press release of the company, Khalti has signed an agreement with Big Movies to make movie ticket booking possible in a simple and secure way via mobile phones.
The agreement was signed between Amit Agrawal, Director of Khalti, and Bharat Agrawal, CEO of Cinestar Pvt. Ltd. (Big Movies). Both parties, Khalti and Big Movies, have agreed upon the slogan “Anytime, Anywhere”- availability of movie tickets for this digital payment method.

With this partnership, users can book the seats for movies on the booking site www.bigmovies.com.np and pay via their account at khalti.com. The entire process can be done by a user’s mobile phone.
