Jawa 42 2.1 is officially available in Nepal.

Agni Moto Inc, the authorized distributor of Jawa motorcycles in Nepal, has unveiled the latest iteration of its popular retro cruiser.

It is called the Jawa 42 2.1, cleverly differentiated by its Sport Stripe graphics.

Furthermore, the Jawa 42 2.1 brings in an improved look, newer alloy wheels, a refined engine, and many quality of life changes. However, these changes will cost Rs. 54,000 more than before. 

As for the pricing, Jawa 42 2.1 is introduced at Rs. 7.58 Lakhs.

Jawa 42 2.1 Overview

Design

Jawa 42 sports a modern design with retro undertones.

While the previous version had chromed touches, Jawa has decided to go for blacked-out finishing this time around.

So, the elements like exhaust pipe, engine, and suspension setup get a matt-black finish. Moreover, the body also gets a classic sports stripe styling with its iconic 42 badging.

However, Jawa hasn’t changed the core design by much.

It still comes with the same rounded headlamp, single-piece handlebar, and an offset analog-digital instrument meter.

Interestingly enough, Jawa 42 2.1 adds a few new elements to boost its overall styling.

The front headlamp sports an X-shaped black grille along with the black visor. Similarly, the spoke wheels have been replaced by tubeless tyres.

The seat gets more cushioning, making it firmer than before.

Additionally, Jawa 42 2.1 comes in three different colors: Red, Black, and White.

Jawa Forty Two is powered by a 293cc, Single-Cylinder, 4-stroke, Liquid-cooled, Fuel Injected engine. It can generate a max power of 27.33 PS and max torque of 27.02 Nm. 

Moreover, it is mated to a 6-speed transmission with a 13-liter fuel tank capacity.

Jawa 42 2.1 gets minor upgrades to its engine. As such, it can now generate 0.82PS more power than before.

It should result in peppier real-world performance thanks to the cross port technology.

Moreover, the suspension duties are carried by a Telescopic fork at the front and a Twin Hydraulic at the rear.
