Design

The Itel A49 has a plastic body. The back has a pill-shaped camera layout. Next to the camera is a fingerprint sensor. In the lower portion of the rear, it has the Itel branding and a back-firing speaker.

Both the power and volume buttons are located on the right side of the device, while the bottom side has a mic and a Micro-USB port. The top side of the device has nothing but a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The back cover of the device is user-removable. Removing the back will reveal two SIM card slots and a microSD card slot. Unfortunately, the battery is not user-removable.
