US-based smartphone manufacturer InFocus is a relatively new brand for Nepali market. While active near the end of 2017, the beginning of 2018 was a dry spell for InFocus. But now, it has been launching some phones and has gained a significant market interest for us to compile the list of their offerings in Nepal.
Prism Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is the sole authorized distributor of InFocus smartphones in Nepal. Right now, they have made 4 different models of Smartphones available under the InFocus brand in Nepal. We have compiled a list of InFocus mobiles price in Nepal with the intent of giving you a better insight into them.
InFocus Mobiles Price in Nepal
InFocus A3
The InFocus A3 comes with a 5.2-inch HD IPS display. It is equipped with an entry-level MediaTek processor and 2 GB of RAM, which should be enough for light workload such as browsing the web, watching videos and surfing social media. The internal storage of this device is 16 GB.
The camera setup on this device is good. It has a 13 Megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and below it sits a 2 Megapixel sensor. It lets you record videos at 1080p at 30 fps. The secondary camera on this device is an 8 Megapixel shooter with f/2.2 aperture. The camera specifications look good for the price. As far as the battery goes, this device gets its juice from a 3050 mAh Non-Removable Li-ion battery which might be able to give you an all-day battery life.

Dual cameras at the price | No fingerprint sensor |
InFocus A2
The InFocus A2 is the mini version of the Infocus A3. It has a 5.0 inch HD IPS display. It is equipped with an entry-level Spreadtrum SC9832 processor and 2 GB of RAM, which is not the most capable setup in a budget smartphone. If you want a phone for some calling and texting, this might suffice but for the internet age, this thing is low powered. CG OMEGA 6 costs less than this phone and gives better cameras and might even give a better performance.
The camera setup on this device is typical of the price range. 5MP at the front and 5MP at the back. This device gets its juice from the 2400 mAh Non-Removable Li-ion battery. Overall, we feel that the 2500 price cut from the Infocus A3 does not justify the cuts in the performance and camera that you get from the A2.

Infocus Vision 3
InFocus vision 3 phone comes with a 5.70-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1440 pixels. The display has 18:9 aspect ratio and a 2.5D curved glass. The color reproduction is decent but sunlight visibility is a little poor. The InFocus Vision 3 is powered by MediaTek MTK6737H processor and it comes with 2GB or 3GB of RAM. That’s enough for most normal tasks like Facebook and Youtube. But the processor will struggle with intensive tasks such as gaming. The phone packs 16GB or 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the InFocus Vision 3 packs (13+5) megapixel dual primary camera on the rear and an 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies. We don’t expect to be blown away by the results. The vision 3 pro had some criticisms regarding its camera performance, and so does the Vision 3 – Autofocusing is also slow and there’s shutter lag. So don’t buy this phone if you are after strong smartphone-camera.

InFocus Epic 1
The Epic 1 is an old phone, it is evident from the OS it ships with. Android Marshmallow in the time of Android Pie is just not good enough. Especially at the price of near 20K. There are plenty of other options out there that are a better value, like the Xiaomi Mi A1, or even the InFocus Vision 3. So, what we are saying is shop around, don’t buy an old phone.

Have Your Say
This was our list of all the InFocus smartphones available in Nepal. Currently, there are only four, but the inventory is expected to grow.
Of all the smartphones above, the one we would buy is the InFocus Vision 3 (16GB) especially for the elongated screen and the large battery. Otherwise, the other phones seem a little overpriced compared to phones from Chinese manufacturers like Oppo and Xiaomi.
This array of phones is not that bad. But what do you think? Will you buy any InFocus phone in 2018? Have you bought an InFocus phone? Then please share your thoughts with us on these phones in the comments section below.
