Honor Magic V2 Overview
Design
The design of the Honor Magic V2 falls in line with other foldable smartphones currently available in the market. However, the device has addressed several complaints and issues that are common in most other foldable smartphones such as panel gaps and folding screen creases.
Starting from the front, the Honor Magic V2 comes with a rounded-off display that covers the entire front side. You can also find one of two front-facing cameras on top of the hole punch display here. The volume rocker and power button are located on the right side of the cover display when folded.
Opening the device will give you a massive edge-to-edge foldable panel. Here you can find the second of the two front-facing cameras on the top right of the hole punch display.
The new titanium alloy hinge in the Magic V2 supposedly provides more durability and more rigidity to the folding mechanism as per Honor’s claims when compared to its previous iteration. This additionally reduces the crease that’s present on the foldable display and makes it more flatter.
On the rear, you can find the triple-camera setup along with the flash and the color spectrum sensor that’s placed on an elevated island-like bump. Lastly, the Honor logo is printed on the bottom corner of the device
Overall, the Honor Magic V2 is astoundingly thin at just 9.9 mm when folded and 4.7 mm when unfolded. It folds cleanly and does not come with any gaps around the foldable screen. Depending on the color, you can get the Honor Magic V2 in either glass or eco-leather (PU) rear panel.
