All New Honda WR-V Diesel Price in Nepal, Featues, Specs

Syakar Trading Company Pvt. Ltd., the official Distributor of Honda automobiles in Nepal, has introduced the all-new 2018 Honda WR-V Diesel variant in the Nepali market. The Honda WR- V is now available all together in 4 variants, WR-V SMT 1.2 Petrol, WR-V VXMT 1.2 Petrol, WR-V SMT 1.5 Diesel and WR-V VXMT 1.5 Diesel.

The price of the WR-V SMT Petrol variant is Rs. 43,25,000, WR-V VXMT Petrol variant is Rs. 48,25,000, WR-V SMT Diesel variant is Rs. 46,60,000 and WR-V VXMT Diesel is Rs. 50,75,000. The WR-V comes in Carnelian Red Pearl, Alabaster Silver Metallic, Premium Amber Metallic, Modern Steel Metallic, and Golden Brown Metallic colors.

Engine

The 2018 Honda WR-V is powered by the 1.2L i-VTEC petrol engine, displacement of 1199cc with a 5-speed gearbox. The petrol engine produces a maximum power of 90 PS @ 6000 rpm and a maximum torque of 110 PS @ 4800 rpm. The new higher weight category transmission is adapted for WR-V petrol version to deliver the punchy performance.

The WR-V now comes with a Diesel variant powered by 1.5L i-DTEC diesel engine, displacement of 1498cc with a 6-speed gearbox. The engine produces 100 PS @ 3600 rpm and a maximum torque of 200 PS @ 1750 rpm. The Diesel variant is made up of all aluminum construction that runs on low friction technology. The fuel efficiency of the Diesel variant is better at 25.5kmpL (expected) than the petrol variant that is 20kmpl.

Looks & Style

The Honda WR-V offers a practicality of a hatchback the space of a mid-size sedan and on-road presence of an SUV. The exterior of the WR-V has a wing chrome grille that makes the car attractive to look at. It contains LED Headlamps with DRL, Split Tyre Rear Combi Lamp and Honda WR-V Sharp Fog Lights.T he crossover looks like a car with personality and style. The crossover looks premium and the finishing looks top notch.

The interior of the WR-V looks premium and spacious. The dashboard is premium. It has a sporty 3- Ring Combimeter and an action-packed steering wheels. The cabin is all black and the car gets the new digi pad. The digi pad is a very intuitive system to operate, nice touchpad and very easy to operate. The digi pad also houses the navigation system in it. The WR-V is the only car in the subcompact SUV which comes with total touch screen which controls the AC as well as the infotainment system.

The seats are excellent in terms of support and cushioning. The seats have an impact mitigating headrest which will help to reduce the impact on the head. The wheelbase of the WR-V is 2555 mm. What the larger wheelbase does is help liberate a lot of leg room over in the second row or the rear seats. The downside is that there are no AC vents at the back and also both the 12V charging points are in the front.

Dimension and Other Features

The overall height, length, and width of the car is 1601 mm, 3999 mm and 1734 mm. The ground clearance that the WR-V offers is 188mm. The seating capacity of the WR-V is 5 and the boot space is 363L. The boot space is quite large and is designed well due to which the consumers can have lots of space.

Sunroof is also a new feature that the WR-V contains but it is only available in VXMT variants. The seats on the SMT variants are of Black and blue fabric but the VXMT variants contain black and silver fabric with premium stitching. The VXMT variants also have a multi-view rearview camera which the SMT variants lack. There are two diesel exclusive features – passive keyless entry with push-button engine start-stop and cruise control.

The Honda WR-V comes with a lot of other features like Dual Airbags, ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) with EBD, ECU immobilizers, parking sensors, engine start/stop button and many more. The MultiView Rear parking Camera is only available in the VXMT variants. The VXMT variant comes with a central arm featuring a power outlet and also gets automatic climate control with a touch panel.
