Hero Xtreme 160R 4V Overview
Design
The new Hero Xtreme 160R 4V sports a fresh, more aggressive look compared to the older 2V model. While the bike’s size and dimensions remain the same, key design updates give it a bolder edge.
From the front, the Xtreme 160R 4V showcases a meaner, more muscular appearance, highlighted by a 37 mm KYB USD fork setup that promises a smoother, more controlled ride.
On the side, the reworked tank design brings a beefier look, and the addition of a Split-Seat design adds a sporty, refined touch.
However, the Xtreme 160R 4V still lacks a central stand, which can be handy in certain situations.
Even so, its overall design stands strong against the competition in the 160cc segment, including crowd favorites like the Bajaj Pulsar N160 and Apache RTR 160 4V.
On the instrumentation part, the new model retains the same console as that before. It features the same LCD Screen. But it might be an issue when riding when sun is at your zenith.
Additionally, a the console supports a basic Bluetooth-enabled function for calls and message notifications.
The Xtreme 160R 4V also comes in three striking color options: Kevlar Brown, Matte Slate Black White, and Shooting Night Star.

Hero Xtreme 160R 4V is powered by a 163.2cc, Single-Cylinder, 4-Valve, Air-Oil Cooled, Fuel Injected BS6 compliant engine. It can generate a max power of 16.9 PS at 8000rpm and a max torque of 14.6 Nm at 6500rpm.
Rather than simply tweaking the previous engine to accommodate the 4-valve setup, Hero went the extra mile and developed an entirely new engine for the Xtreme 160R 4V.
This new 4-valve engine delivers a boost in performance, producing 1.5 PS more power and 0.6 Nm more torque than the previous 160R model.
The engine is paired with a smooth 5-speed gearbox and a 12-liter fuel tank.
Hero has also adjusted the gear ratios slightly, creating a shorter shift pattern for a punchier response across different riding conditions.
Additional Details
37mm KYB USD Forks and and 7-Step Adjustable Monoshock handles the suspension duties.
The dimensions are 2029mm in length, 793mm in width, and 1052mm in height. Moreover, the wheelbase sits at 1333mm.
Hero Xtreme 160R gets a 165mm ground clearance. And, the kerb weight is 146kg.
