While the iconic Splendor has its own legacy, Super Splendor has captivated a different market with the upgraded 125cc engine, and IBS technology.

After its launch, Super Splendor became more popular than the iconic Splendor, especially in the Nepali market.

Hero Super Splendor Overview

Design

Super Splendor comes with an improved overall design than the Splender Plus.

Unlike the Splendor Plus’s flat and rectangular design approach, Super Splender features a round design language.

However, it continues to carry the simple aesthetics of the iconic Splendor.

It comes with a Rectangular Halogen Bulb and Halogen Side Indicators. The headlamp comes with Multi-Reflector treatments for better visibility.

The side profile looks simple with wavy graphical add-ons. It gets a Single-level Single Seat Setup. Moreover, it comes with a slightly exposed engine giving it a raw look.

The comfortable seat, lightweight, easy-to-handle ability and saree guard makes Super Splendor a perfect family for Nepal. 

The rear looks identical to the Splendor Plus. It comes with Halogen Taillamp along with Halogen Side Indicators with Multi-Reflector treatments.

Additionally, it comes in four different color options: Candy Blazing Red, Black with Electric Purple, Black with Fiery Red, and Graphite Black.

Performance

Hero Super Splendor is powered by a 124.7cc, Single-Cylinder, Air-cooled, OHC engine. It can generate a max power of 9 Ps at 7000 rpm and a max torque of 10.35 Nm @ 4000 rpm.

Moreover, it is mated to a 4-speed gearbox with 13 liters of fuel capacity.

Hero Super Splendor is built with i3s Technology which gives a good mileage of 55 Kmpl – 60 Kmpl. With decent power and mileage, it is considered everyone’s favorite in Nepal.

The i3s technology automatically puts the engine into hibernation mode when the user stops the bike. The engine then starts automatically when the user presses the clutch.

Telescopic Forks and 5-Step Adjustable Hydraulic Shock Absorbers handle suspension duties.

Bajaj Discover 125 looks more enticing in design with Dual LED DRLs. Moreover, its DTSI engine with higher peak power and torque and a 5-speed gearbox comes at Rs. 3,000 lesser price than the Super Splendor.

Additionally, It features a higher 165 mm ground clearance and a front disc brake which in the case of Super Splendor is 160 mm and all drum braking respectively.
