Hamro Patro, an app used by nearly every Nepali out there, has reached 5 million downloads in Play Store. This is a massive accomplishment for an app based in Nepal which mostly only caters to the needs of Nepali customers. We would like to congratulate Hamro Patro Team on reaching this milestone.
Hamro Patro was one of the first Nepali apps to cross a million downloads too. So, it catches no one by surprise that they reached the 5 million downloads first. And it was about time too. Hamro Patro was established in 2012. After 6 long years of hard work, the team deserved this honor for serving the Nepali customers consistently with their app.
For those of you who don’t know, Hamro Patro was originally a calendar app that has now grown to include daily news and FM radio. You can even listen to Nepali audiobooks and music through this app. Not only that, there is an option to look at your horoscope; there’s an included Nepali dictionary and a section dedicated to vegetable prices in Nepal.
Hamro Patro is truly an app that tries to be everything that Nepali users want it to be. And looking at its 5 million and growing number of downloads, it looks like it is successful in doing that.
Again, we here at TechLekh would like to congratulate Hamro Patro for their success and wish them an even brighter future.
