Fitbit Blaze Wireless Activity (Large)
Let’s be honest, the Fitbit blaze is bulky and its octagonal shape is not the most ideal to wear on the wrist. But the 1.25-inch touchscreen LCD (covered by Gorilla Glass 3) with a resolution of 240×180 is a vast improvement over the mono-color, very tiny displays on earlier Fitbits. This device can take light rain but not shower or swimming with it. So, why are you paying Rs. 28,999?
Maybe, you want to use multi-sport tracking to track runs, cardio, cross-training, biking, etc. Maybe you want to track steps, distance, calories burned, floors climbed and active minutes and stay connected Stay connected with call, text & calendar alerts and notifications from your favorite apps like Gmail, Facebook at the same time. We aren’t judging. But at this price point, you might as well buy a smartwatch.

Fitbit Alta HR Activity Tracker
This is the device that comes to my mind when I think about Fitbit. A slender futuristic looking watch-like activity tracker. And this might be the one most people would want to get if they are just conscious about their fitness. This device can track calorie burn, heart rate, and your sleep. You can view your sleep patterns in the Fitbit app in your phone and gauge how your sleep is affecting your daily life.
The tracker also sends you friendly reminders to move that encourage you to stay active and help you fit more movement into your day. You can set goals, track your progress, connect with friends and share your milestones, get personalized fitness coaching and more with special Fitbit app. Also, it is cheaper than the blaze. It costs Rs. 19,999 and you can buy it from here. The Alta HR is available in large and small sizes and in different colors like gunmetal, rose, coral, blue-gray, and black. There’s also a gold version with a much cooler looking strap. All models cost the same.

Fitibit Charge 2 (Unisex)
Fitbit charge 2 looks like the bulkier form of the Alta HR. But if you want to get more features than the Alta HR, you should buy the Charge 2. This device retains buttons that were so mercilessly removed from the Alta HR. So, here you have buttons and screen to interact with while on the Alta, you only have a touchscreen to deal with. Both the Charge 2 and the Alta HR have an OLED screen and same water resistance.
The Fitbit Charge 2 has ConnectedGPS (which will use your phone’s GP to get accurate distance data), workout modes and Relax which uses the Heart rate sensor to track guided breathing exercises. These features are not available in the Alta HR. But the Alta HR already does a good job of counting your steps and your distance. So, when comparing the Fitbit Charge 2 and Fitbit Alta HR it really comes down to form factor. You can buy the Charge 2 from here.

Fitbit Versa Smartwatch
Fitbit Versa is the most attractive Fitbit product yet. It looks like an apple watch when you look at it, but if this thing looks good, we aren’t complaining. The Versa is a low-cost alternative to the Apple watch.
It’s water-resistant to 50 meters and works with iOS and Android. Many of the apps and watch faces are useful and fun. More importantly, its battery life beats that of Apple watch. It accomplishes all the task that other Fitbit products like the Alta HR can do and still looks prettier while doing so. But, this device, unfortunately, doesn’t have GPS built in. The UI is much easier to use, and this device finally looks and functions like a normal watch. If you want a smartwatch but don’t want to spend a ton on the Apple watch, Fitbit Versa is a good choice. You can buy it here.

Have your say
Fitness tracking devices are not my forte because I am not a fitness buff. My phones track my steps just fine and that is enough for me. However, that may not be enough for you. You want to understand how your day is affecting your sleep and vice versa. You want to know how much fat you are losing. Then these devices are your friend. But choose wisely because they are expensive, and you may be better off spending slightly more on a smartwatch than a fitness tracker.
If I had to choose a product though, I would definitely go with the Fitbit Versa. It’s stylish, it looks like a watch and has all the features of the other Fitbit fitness trackers (except GPS).
