DJI Pocket 2 Overview
Design
DJI Pocket 2 is a pocket-sized handheld gimbal with extreme portability. DJI Pocket 2 has a similar design as the original Osmo Pocket, with a small grip.
The bottom of the Pocket 2 camera’s handle can now be swapped out and replaced with other options. It is compatible with accessories such as a tripod base, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module, 3.5 mm jack, and wireless microphone receiver.
Camera
Pocket 2 comes with a larger 1/1.7-inch image sensor compared to the original Osmo Pocket’s 1/2.3-inch sensor. The new lens also offers a wider 20mm FOV with an aperture of f/1.8 compared to the 26mm f/2.0 of the original pocket.
It can capture videos up to 4k/60 fps but it has added a new HDR video option which will be limited up to 2.7k.

Pocket 2 brings some more upgrades with a new microphone array. It now has 4 microphones compared to 2 on the original Osmo pocket. This new microphone system is also capable of adjusting audio based on the camera’s FOV which is similar to Samsung’s audio zoom.
Pocket 2 is also capable of handling 8X zoom in 64MP mode and has 4X lossless zoom in 16MP mode.
Features
Pocket 2 features ActiveTrack 3.0 that can track the subject continuously. You can capture Timelapse, Hyperlapse, and Motionlapse.
Furthermore, it has new software features such as Fast Wake to power and Drops Aware.
