Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is an amazing device. It’s one of the best all-rounders of the year. It has got a big, gorgeous screen, large storage and RAM, a unique pen and a camera to beat. But it’s not cheap. Spending Rs. 110000 on a phone may not be feasible for everybody. What if you could get a similar device at a significantly lower price?
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. If you don’t want the latest and greatest but appreciate Samsung’s Galaxy Note line, you can grab a Note 8 for Rs. 69900 from Daraz. This version has 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. The processor inside is an octa-core processor that performs similarly to Snapdragon 835. So, you can still run the latest games at the highest of frame rates. The screen is still one of the best around.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Price in Nepal: Rs. 69,900
The camera was among the best smartphone cameras of the previous year. There is no variable aperture here, but it still got Samsung’s image processing. It clicks bright images with punchy colors in daylight. Low-light performance is equally good. Mind you, this phone was Rs. 1,02,990 when it launched. And that was just last year.
The S-pen on the Note 8 doesn’t have a button and a capacitor here but you will rarely use it anyway. The only thing that may stop you from buying the Note 8 is the fact that a phone like OnePlus 6, which has far superior performance than the Note 8, is available around the same price. So, you may have to choose between the Note’s screen, form factor, and OnePlus’s blazing fast snappy performance.
Also, the battery on the Note 8 is rather puny for the phone this size. 3300mAh is just not enough to get you through the day with medium to heavy usage.
Ultimately, the choice is yours. The only thing we will say is that the deal is sweet. If you like Samsung’s approach to smartphones and don’t use your phone heavily throughout the day, go for the Note 8.
