Daraz, the biggest online shopping platform in Nepal, is all set to launch its annual 11.1 sales this November 11, 2020. This will be the third iteration of Daraz’s singles day sale which is inspired by Alibaba’s popular 11.11 singles day sale.
Alibaba’s 11.11 has evolved from a China-only “singles day sale” to now the largest “Global Shopping Festival” celebrated in many countries across the world and surpassing Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Year-End campaigns combined in sales volume.
And, this year’s 11.11 sale in Nepal will host more than 6 thousand sellers, 160+ global and domestic brands, and more than 5 lakh products.
The mega sale event will present customers with a number of opportunities to save via Mega Deals, Prepayment Discounts, Flash Sales, Bundle Offers, Free Shipping, Flat Discounts from various sellers as well as brands, and much more.
“COVID-19 has impacted all of our lives significantly. After some challenging months, we are excited to bring Alibaba’s 11.11 Shopping Festival for the third time to Nepal.
It will not only offer shoppers across the country access to exclusive deals and huge discounts across various categories, but it also gives Nepali sellers the chance to recover faster and boost their sales online during times where many of them see significantly less footfall due to the pandemic,” said Lino Ahlering, Managing Director, Daraz.
