A few months ago, Crossfire Nepal unveiled its new-gen dirt bike called the Crossfire GR7. Ever since the introduction, it has been the talk about the town due to its good looks with the improved setups, especially the upgraded suspensions. Well, it wouldn’t be far-fetched to say that Crossfire GR7 was a success!
Keeping that in mind, Crossfire Nepal is looking to shake things up again. So, the company has officially launched the all-new Crossfire NC250 in Nepal. This is the new and upgraded version of the previous, Crossfire XZ250RR. As for the pricing, the Crossfire NC250 price in Nepal is Rs. 5,99,000. Furthermore, it comes in two different variants; Motard and Dirt.
Let me give you extra good news! Whether you choose the Crossfire NC250 Motard or Crossfire NC250 Dirt, the price of both variants is Rs. 5,99,000.
Crossfire NC250 Overview
Crossfire NC250 is powered by 250cc ZS177M liquid-cooled engine. Furthermore, the cooling system also includes a double radiator, air circulating radiators, and assisting fans with overflow coolant reservoir. Moreover, this generates powertrain numbers of max power at 30BHP and max torque at 23Nm.

Interestingly, GR7’s engine has been carried over to the new NC250. So, the pickup and the power falls on the stronger side, with similar ride performance. However, GR7’s superb suspension is missing, instead of giving an entirely new setup in NC250.
Talking about the suspensions, you get a slightly different setup with lesser mm travel. On the front, you get Inverted with rebound and compression damping adjustability with 251mm travel. Likewise, on the rear, you will get Pro-link single shock with spring preload with adjustability with 116mm travel.
Crossfire NC250 Features
Crossfire NC250 comes with enough unique features to set itself apart. It comes with the classic halogen headlight, LED tail lamp, LED turning lights, Upside-Down Forks and a digital instrument display.
Another list of features includes CNC Triple Clamp, Pillion Support Handrails, Skid Plate, Flexible Hoise Coils, Self-Cleaning Foot Pegs, and Cubic Headlight.
As of this writing, you can only get the Crossfire NC250 in White/Red color variant.
Crossfire NC250 Motard vs Crossfire NC250 Dirt: What’s the Difference?
Okay, Crossfire is offering NC250 in two variants for the same price. So, which one should you choose? More importantly, what’s the difference?
Well, both Motard and Dirt variant shares everything with one another, including the engine, the performance, etc. However, the difference is limited to just the type of tires and its size.
In the dirt variant, you will get a larger Dirt-tires at the 21-inch front and 18-inch rear. Likewise, in the Motard variant, you will get a smaller Street-tires at 17-inch on both front and rear.

Should You Buy Crossfire NC250 in Nepal?
Compared to other dirt-bike brands in Nepal, Crossfire feels and looks slightly more premium. The overall build quality feels solid with a slightly more competitive edge over the competition like Asian Beast and CX250.
Honestly, Crossfire brought its A-game with GR7. It looks like a retro dirt bike with a modernized design. Factor that with the performance and the suspensions along with the initial price tag of Rs. 5.19 Lakhs, that… that was a game-changer!

It appears as if Crossfire wants to change the game again. Well, with NC250… I don’t know. Compared to the GR7, NC250 brings nothing new to the table. It would’ve been nice to see something, maybe like a digital instrument cluster or LED headlight.
If I had to choose, I would gladly take Crossfire GR7 over the new NC250. However, I do prefer the Red/White color in NC250 over the Yellow/White in GR7. In conclusion, Crossfire NC250 is a good dirt bike, but due to lack of innovations, it’s not the best.
