Bad Stuff
Price.
With the starting price of Rs. 3.94 Lakhs, it is subjectively more expensive than its rivals. And, Yamaha Nepal has discontinued the more affordable BS4 iteration for the Nepali market.
Adding to that, Yamaha FZS FI heavily compromises performance to achieve the highest mileage claim.
Fortunately, there are still some who prefer a muscular commuter over a fuel-guzzling performance machine.
Summary
Yamaha FZS-FI continues to be one of the best-selling Yamaha bikes in Nepal.
It sits comfortably well in its segment, offering decent performance, excellent mileage, and satisfactory features.
While its offering and pricing might not be everyone’s forte, Yamaha FZS-FI v3.0 still deserves to be in the fifth position among our Best Bikes Under 4 Lakhs in the Nepal listing.

Why Choose Suzuki Gixxer 155?
Good Stuff
We always had a soft spot for the Suzuki Gixxer 155.
It is an underappreciated motorcycle, especially with excellent design, punchy performance, and a justifiable price tag.
Furthermore, Gixxer 155 leads the segment in the braking and flexibility aspects.
If you were looking for a muscular bike with decent mileage figures and excellent engine refinement, then this is it.
ALSO READ: Suzuki Bikes Price in Nepal: Features and Specs
Bad Stuff
Suzuki Gixxer 155 is perfect in almost all regards, except for its high-positioned pillion seat.
It is near-perfect for solo rides, whether for daily commutes or long-distance rides. However, the same cannot be said about its aggressive pillion seat.
The pillion will feel uncomfortable and awkward regardless of the riding distance.
Summary
Suzuki Gixxer 150 is a highly underrated naked motorcycle.
It packs in the punch, looks, and almost everything one might expect from a 150-160cc engine.
If you want to take the experience a step further, then you can go for the Gixxer SF for a sportier riding experience.
Honestly, it should get the attention it very much deserves!
Unfortunately, Suzuki Gixxer 155 fails to live up to its potential due to Suzuki Nepal’s lack of marketing effort.
That’s why Suzuki Gixxer 155 is in the fourth position in the Best Bikes Under 4 Lakh in the Nepal list.

Bad Stuff
If I had to nitpick elements in an otherwise excellent motorcycle, I have to point out one simple thing: Air-Cooling System.
It is a 160cc engine with an impressive powertrain.
However, it could have done more with either Oil-Cooling or Liquid-Cooling. Perhaps, it is a method to bring costs down.
Hopefully, Hero learns from this and introduces another cooling system in its next update.
Summary
Like the Gixxer 155, Xtreme 160R is a great offering.
Despite its minor faults, the good aspects clearly outweigh the bad. However, Hero Xtreme fails to live up to its true potential due to Hero Nepal’s lackluster marketing.
Nevertheless, Hero Xtreme 160R boasts a perfect balance between performance, features, styling, and price.
That’s why Hero Xtreme 160R is in the third position in the Best Bikes Under 4 Lakh in the Nepal list.

Good Stuff
Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 comes with a powerful FI performance, muscular styling, and a Single-channel ABS.
It has almost everything one might need from a performance powerhouse.
It hits the sweet spot in cornering, high-speed stability, and satisfactory pickup.
While it is still weak in the features department, Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 continues to be the most popular bike in the 200cc segment.
ALSO READ: Bajaj Bikes Price in Nepal: Features and Specs
Bad Stuff
The sheer popularity of Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 is also dragging it down.
Over the past few years, there hasn’t been much of an update. It still gets the same design and same features with a few color changes here and there.
Moreover, it is concerning to see the price inch closer to Rs. 4 Lakhs mark. Fortunately, there is a standard ABS Carb variant (priced at Rs. 3.69 Lakhs) available for affordability.
We were hoping to see a major facelift in the BS6 version, rather than just a color refresh.
This is why it has lost its top position, shifting to the second position on our list.
Summary
Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 FI ABS is still the best bike in its segment.
It sports the best performance for its segment, even more than its rivals. Unfortunately, it has slowly lost its steam in face of growing competition and a lack of revolutionary features.
If it does not get any updates within 2023, then it might lose its top-dog position forever.
For now, Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 FI ABS is in the second position in the Best Bikes Under 4 Lakh in the Nepal list.
