Design

Beats Studio Buds has an oval case. The earbuds are in-ear design and come in a unique shape.

There is a bit of a stem sticking out of the earbuds, this makes it easier to hold the buds while putting them inside the ears or when taking them out.

For the controls, there is a button on the earbud. The button has standard controls such as play, pause, and skip the songs. And long press to cycle through the different modes.

The earbuds are rated IPX4 for sweat and water resistance. Beats Studio Buds come in three colors: Black, White, and Beats Red.

Audio Features

The diaphragm in Studio Buds is custom designed by Beats. Beats says Studio Buds’ custom acoustic platform can deliver powerful and balanced sound.

Beats Studio Buds feature Active Noise Cancellation. There are two modes: ANC and Transparency mode.

The modes can be enabled or disabled by long-pressing the button on the earbud or through the device app.

Battery & Connectivity

Beats claims the battery of the earbuds can last up to 8 hours with ANC and Transparency mode off. And with the charging case, it will give extra 16 hours.

With ANC turned on, the earbuds can last up to 5 hours, and extra 10 hours with a case.

Beats Studio Buds charges via a USB Type-C port. The buds can be connected to both iOS and Android easily. But for Android users, the Beats App needs to be installed to take full advantage of the buds.
