Bajaj Pulsar N160 Overview
Design
Bajaj Pulsar N160 sports the same design as seen in the N250.
Built on the “Sculptural Purity” principle, it gets a metalized dual-tone color. It is an interplay of premium shades.
Interestingly, it gets darker in the front and lighter towards the rear. This helps emphasize the contours of the beast.
The front section comes with a Bi-Functional Projector LED headlamp with Twin-LED DRLs. Moreover, it gets standard halogen indicators instead of LED ones.
However, other elements remain unchanged.
It still has a Single-Piece Handlebar, Muscular Fuel Tank, and the Iconic Pulsar Emblem.
Furthermore, it comes with a Split-Seat Setup with Stylish Grab Rail. However, the Dual-Barrel Exhaust has been replaced by a belly-pan exhaust.
Other than that, it still comes with the new Infinity Analog-Digital Meter and Twin LED Taillamp.
Compared to other 160cc rivals, the Pulsar N160 boasts a more premium and hefty finish.
Additionally, Bajaj Pulsar N160 comes in two colors: Racing Red, Caribbean Blue.
Performance
Bajaj Pulsar N160 is powered by a 164.82cc, Single-Cylinder, 4-stroke, Oil-cooled, SOHC FI engine. It can generate a max power of 16PS at 8750rpm and a max torque of 14.65Nm at 6750rpm.

Telescopic Forks with 130mm suspension travel at the front and a 5-Step Adjustable Mono-Shock at the rear handles the suspension duties.

Bajaj Pulsar N160 rivals TVS Apache RTR 160 4V.
The N160 is priced slightly higher than the Apache RTR 160 4V.
The Apache focuses on performance with features like Ride Modes, a Superior Power-to-Weight ratio, and a 4-Valve Engine. In comparison, the N160 lacks these performance-focused elements. However, Bajaj aims to offer a more balanced ride with the N160 while catering to performance enthusiasts through the NS160 in its lineup.
The N160 caters to both new riders and those looking to upgrade from 125cc or 150cc models. It also stands out with its segment-first Dual-Channel ABS, which gives it an edge over the competition.
However, if we only compare performance figures, the Apache RTR 160 4V currently leads the segment.
That said, the N160 has another key advantage: Bajaj’s strong after-sales service and extensive spare parts network, making it a more reliable choice for many buyers.
