Asus Nepal has launched their new ZenBook 14 UX425 and ZenBook 13 UX325 in Nepal with the 11th Gen Intel Core CPU. These are the latest addition to an impressive ZenBook lineup. The 10th Gen variants of these laptops were launched back in October 2020.

Asus Zenbook 14 UX425 price in Nepal is Rs. 133,333 (i5) and Rs. 154,444 (i7). The price remains the same for the smaller 13-inch ZenBook 13 UX325. It is available at retail stores and nagmani.com.np.

Design

The new ZenBook 14 and ZenBook 13 are thinner and lighter than the previous generation. ZenBook 13/14 weighs just 1.07 kg and both models are just 13.9 mm thin.

The laptop comes with two Thunderbolt ports both of which support Power Delivery and DisplayPort via USB-C. They support fast charging, up to two 4K UHD external displays for an expanded visual workspace, and up to 40 Gbps data speeds for ultrafast file transfers. Then it has a full-size HDMI port, a USB Type-A port, and a micro SD reader.

The new ZenBooks come with a new edge-to-edge ergonomic keyboard design that increases the size of the keyboard for a more comfortable typing experience. It also creates space for an extra set of useful function keys on the right-hand side of the keyboard.

Furthermore, it is also using the ErgoLift hinge mechanism which tilts the keyboard to an optimum angle when the lid is open and creates a space under the laptop for better airflow.

The new ZenBooks are also using ASUS NumberPad 2.0 which is a dual function touchpad with an integrated LED-illuminated full-size numeric keypad. Simply tap the icon on the touchpad turns the NumberPad on and off.

Display

ASUS Zenbook 14 has a 14-inch matte display with a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels whereas the ZenBook 13 has a 13-inch matter display.

Both use a good IPS panel with a good viewing angle and a peak brightness of 300 nits. The optional 1-watt display can provide up to 450 nits of brightness.

The bezels on the new ZenBooks are very thin and ASUS calls it NanoEdge display which boasts a screen-to-body ratio of 90%.

ASUS ZenBook 14 UX425 and 13 UX325 are equipped with an 11th Gen Intel Core-i5-1135G7 or Intel Core-i7-1165G7 processor, 8GB/16GB (on i7 variant) 4266 MHz LPDDR4x RAM, and 512GB PCIe NVMe Gen 3 SSD.

The latest 11th Generation Intel® Core™ processors in ZenBook 14/13 deliver enhanced performance that makes light work of multitasking, productivity, and entertainment. ZenBook 14/13 also features ultrafast PCIe® 3.0 x2 SSDs and the latest Intel WiFi 6 with Gig+ (802.11ax) for superb all-round performance.

For audio, ZenBook 14/13 uses speakers certified by audio specialists Harman Kardon to ensure immersive, crystal-clear sound for communications or entertainment. It also supports the ASUS SonicMaster stereo audio system with surround sound.

ZenBook 13 and ZenBook 14 feature an ASUS ClearVoice Mic with AI-trained noise-canceling technology to ensure clear voice outgoing communications in online meetings or internet voice calls. They also use ASUS ClearVoice Speaker technology to filter out ambient noise from incoming audio streams.

ASUS Zenbook 14/13 has a 67 Wh battery and Asus claims up to 21 hours of battery life on the 14-inch model.
